Mexico City (Ciudad de México), capital of the country and seat of the government, lies at an altitude of more than 2,200 meters in the Anáhuac Valley surrounded by mighty mountain ranges. Mexico City is the densely populated, high-altitude capital of Mexico. It's known for its Templo Mayor (a 13th-century Aztec temple), the baroque Catedral Metropolitana de México of the Spanish conquistadors and the Palacio Nacional, which houses historic murals by Diego Rivera.
All of these are situated in and around the Plaza de la Constitución, the massive main square also known as the Zócalo.

Mexico City - the capital - is not only the largets city in Mexico, it is also the largest city in the world! With 28 million inhabitants, this awesome metropolis can get very heptic. Here you can find everything from 5 stars-luxury neighborhoods and restaurants to some of the most dangerous and crime-ridden parts of the of the world. When we visited we stayed with my uncle and his family, they have lived in Mexico City for over 40 years and were able to take us to the best places while avoiding all the bad ones.
We spent 4 months travelling around Mexico and put together this series of videos reviewing the TOP CITIES TO VISIT and the TOP THINGS TO DO in each one of them.
