TOP 5 Foods to try in CALABRIA, Italy!! ???????? food & travel
I also tried the famous spicy 'Nduja burger in Calabria! ????
Back in Calabria for more street food, this is my personal top 5 italian foods list to try in this beautiful Southern Italy region. We start with a typical cheese and salami platter, Italian's favourite way to start a meal, with a variety of cured hams, sausage and cheese with spicy onion jam. We ate this at a butcher who sources all the meats fresh from its own store.
Number 2 in the list is the famous sausage panini of Calabria, a well known street food especially in the summer season, where small towns have their street festivals and people love eating out in the streets.
Third, I show the famous stuffed eggplants of Calabria; these are bit size wonders, which you can find in traditional restaurants in Calabria (or if you have a nonna there, seh can cook the for you :D).
Number 4 is an amazing Tuna Steak Panini; this is a more recent trend in Calabria, we did not feel satisfied with the canned tuna sandwich so we went for the real thing :D
Finally, I'll show you some highlights of the Calabrian Pasticceria, the perfect dessert to have in the summer evening to find relief from the hot weather.

In Italy, you could purchase a home for a single euro. This wouldn’t be a house you could move into right away but one that’s been abandoned for decades and likely in need of considerable renovation. However, the cost of restoring old houses in rural Italy can be as low as 20,000 or 30,000 euros, depending on the size of the house.
These 1-euro houses are an attempt by village mayors to breathe life back into their communities. To be allowed to purchase one, you must show your plan for renovating the property and, ideally, for converting it to a business that will benefit the townspeople—a guesthouse, for example, or an artisan’s shop.
You could be required to complete the restoration work within a relatively short timeline—six to twelve months is typical—and to use local labor. Still, if you fantasize about a new life and a home of your own in Italy, this could be an affordable and adventure-filled way to make that dream come true.

El sur de italia y muchos otros Pueblos de Europa sufren el drama que sus habitantes los abandonan por falta de oportunidades.
Cinquefroni no es la excepción, con una Campaña muy agresiva en los medios de comunicación este pueblito de tan solo 6000 habitantes lanzo la venta de algunas propiedades al valor simbolico de 1€.
La adjudicación de una propiedad implica la obligación por parte de su nuevo dueño de hacer una inversion en remodelacion de al menos 20.000 € en el transcurso de 3 años desde la adjudicacion.
El incumplimiento en este compromiso por parte del comprador da derecho al municipio a quitarle la propiedad.
El pueblo es un lugar agradable en lineas generales, caminar sus calles practicamente desiertas dan una sensación de soledad muy grande.
En la entrada del pueblo hay un centro comercial bastante grande y a tan solo 15 minutos la primer playa.
Contanos si te gustaria vivir en un lugar asi comprando una casita por el valor simbolico de 1€.
