The best things to do in Tha Muang Kanchanaburi, is to visit Wat Tham Suea (Tiger Cave Temple).
The district was established in 1898. Later people in the district moved southward to nearby Wat Si Loha Rat Bamrung. They changed the district name to Wang Khanai (วังขนาย). In 1939 Phra Woraphak Phibun, then head of the district, renamed the district Tha Muang after the name of the central tambon.
Neighbouring districts are (from the north clockwise) Dan Makham Tia, Mueang Kanchanaburi, Bo Phloi, Phanom Thuan, Tha Maka of Kanchanaburi Province, Ban Pong, and Chom Bueng of Ratchaburi Province.
The important water resource is the Mae Klong River. The Mae Klong Dam on the Mae Klong River is in the district.

I Climbed the HIGHEST TEMPLE In THAILAND - SKY TEMPLE????????????????

We start the day leaving our beautiful hotel, Riverside Lodge Hotel in Lampang travelling to Chiang Mai. On the way we decide to stop path the well known 'Sky Temple' just 1 hour north of Lampang. Its true name is 'Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat Prachomklao Rachanusorn. Also 2 hours south of Chiang Mai. From the car park to the start point we catch the song tail bus which is a 10 minute drive. The price for the foreigner is 270 THB and Thai person is 70 THB for everything.
Its 840 metres from the coffee shop starting point to the summit of the Sky Temple and takes us 45 minutes. Its a hard step climb and we s top fro a break at the mid way point. There seems to be plenty of shade as we start the trek late at 12 oclock.The views are amazing and this was one of my best ever experiences ever in Thailand!

หินงอกหินย้อย และ แสงสีภายในถ้ำ :
ภายในถ้ำแบ่งออกเป็น 8 คูหา คือ ศิวสถาน โถงอาคันตุกะ ธารอโนดาต สกุณชาติคูหา เทวสภาสโมสร กินนรทัศนา พฤกษาหิมพานต์ และอุทยานทวยเทพ ภายในถ้ำมีการจัดระเบียบทางเดินอย่างดีและจัดแสงไฟตามกลุ่มหินย้อยต่าง ๆ เพื่อเสริมจินตนาการให้แก่ผู้มาเที่ยวชม จัดเป็นถ้ำแรกที่มีการจัดแสงสีภายในถ้ำเป็นแห่งแรกในประเทศไทย
ชื่อ ถ้ำเขาบิน เชื่อว่ามาจากหินงอกหินย้อยรูปพญาอินทรีย์กางปีกดูสง่างาม และภายในถ้ำยังมีบ่อน้ำแร่เล็ก ๆ ที่ชาวบ้านเชื่อว่า เป็นบ่อน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์

Wat Phumarin Ratchapaksi Thai Art Beyond Boundaries,

Wat Phumarin Rajapaksi is opposite Wat Dusidaram Worawihan. The building is eye-catching due to its tall chapel in which Luangphor Dum, the principle Buddha statue, is enshrined. Figures of the disciples appear in bas relief on the wall to allow more space inside the shrineroom. Nearby is another chapel with a curved base in the shape of a junk.
During the reign of King Rama VI, there was only one monk residing at the temple, so His Majesty ordered Wat Phumarin Rajapaksi to be combined with Wat Dusidaram Worawihan. The depiction of Narai riding on the back of a garuda with a peacock displaying its tail can be seen on the gable of Wat Phumarin Rajapaksi. The figure is studded with pieces of coloured glass.
