Landmarks of Swidnica (Lower Silesian Voivodeship), Poland GoPro 1080p
The city's name was first recorded as Svidnica in 1070, when it was part of Piast-ruled Poland. Swidnica became a town in 1250, although no founding document has survived that would confirm the fact. The town belonged, at the time, to the Duchy of Wroclaw, a province of Poland. By 1290, Swidnica had city walls and six gates. The city was famous for its beer production and it's Crafts and trade were blossoming. In various cities of the region (Wroclaw, Olesnica or Brzeg) and Europe (Krakow, Torun, Prague or Pisa) there were so-called Swidnica Cellars – restaurants serving beer from Swidnica. In Wroclaw, Swidnica Cellar (Piwnica Swidnicka) exists to this day as the oldest restaurant in Europe; Swidnica, Poland 2019. Shots were taken with GoPro Hero 7 Black 2.7K downsized to 1080p HD.

Ja przedstawiam stan lini latem 2013 r.
Od tego czasu wiele się wydarzyło,najpierw przejechał motorak w barwach SKPL,mający pokazać,iż da się prowadzić normalny ruch po tych torach,
potem warszawka wymyśliła sobie,że most nad bobrem w Pilichhowicach jest w tragicznym stanie technicznym,iże w ramach tego,weżmie udział w kolejnej cześci filmu Mission Imposible,w którym zostanie wysadzony w powietrze,i że z tego interesu będzie tyle pieniędzy,że starczy i na nowy most,i na remont lini,a reklama dla regionu i polski olbrzymia,
Z tym że jak się potem okazało,to most jest w bardzo dobrym stanie technicznym,prócz elementów drewnianych,
Co do umiejscowienia mostu w filmie,miał się on znajdować w Szwajcarii,i to te państwo byłoby znane z finału tego filmu,a nie polska,czy dolny śląsk.
Jak się potem dowiedzieliśmy,ani pieniędzy czy nawet planów odbudowy,i remontu lini nie było,po prostu ktoś z nomenklatury chciał zrobić niezły przekręt,
Nawet dzisiaj spółki PKP robią wszystko,aby tej lini,nie przekazać UMWD,
Był nawet pomysł aby z Lwówka Śląskieego,skąd tory wychodziły w czterch kierunkach,zrobić węzeł rowerowy,czyli raj dla cyklistów,gdzie w sezonie mieszkańcy byliby zatrudnieni przy obsłudze rowerzystów,a poza sezonem ?,chyba na bezrobocie,klepać biede,
Ale UMWD ma lepsze rozwiązanie,zamiast ryzykować remont torów tylko do Lwówka Śl.gdzie liczba podróżnych mogłaby się okazać niewystarczająca,
to połączy dwa duże miasta w regionie,czyli Jelenią Górę z Legnicą,
gdzie po drodze są Pilchowice,Wleń,Lwówek Śl.to na lk 283,gdzie dalej pociąg skęci na NW Wieś Grodziską,lk 284,tu tory trzeba odbudować do Jerzmanic Zdroju,i dalej przez Złotoryje do samej Legnicy,
Przy takim oblocie,pasażerów nie będzie nigdy brakować,
Tak czy inaczej,nie predzej niż w 2030 rTo wszystko jest zrujnowane,tylko że trzeba tego pilnować,żeby znowu ktoś nie chciał,tego puścić w powietrze.
Podobny myk UMWD zrobił z Chocianowem,który liczy prawie 8 tyś.miszkańców,żeby nie ryzykować że pociąg może zacząć jeżdzić pusty,puszczono go przez Chojnów,tym samym zażegnano ryzyko klapy,a i częstotliwość pociągów pomiedzy Legnicą a Chojnowem,znacznie się zwiększy :)

Adventures in Poland: Warsaw SURPRISING me in many ways...
My third day in and around Warsaw, Poland. The morning started with rain. We visited one of the most beautiful and unique stables I have ever seen!! Stajnie Chojnów. We saw some monuments in the forest. And in the evening were caught in a rain storm in Wilanów and found shelter in the beautiful church there. We saw glimpses of the palace which we will visit again when the weather is good. What an adventure!
I was invited to come here and stay and explore the rest of the week. It's so special when one of my YouTube subscribers hosts me and shows me around. Those visiting Łomnica by motorhome will find no shortage of places to wild camp - one place is directly in front of the palace there and whilst doing so one can visit the restaurant serving local cuisine. The visit shown here is for the harvest festival which offers traditional entertainment as well as a large variety of traditional foods. Łomnica is a village with a population of less than 2,000 to the east of Jelenia Góra. .

Western Poland (#08): Klodzko, Ladek-Zdrój
The Land of Klodzko is surrounded by mountain ranges forming a natural barrier separating it from the rest of Silesia and creating a kind of individual enclave. The military importance of this part of present Silesia region necessitated that a new town be raised ... namely Klodzko. First mention of this town comes from the 10th century and until the beginning of 17th century, the Land of Klodzko was under Czech political and economical influences. Between the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century, the Land of Klodzko was under Austrian domination and after so-called Treaty of Hubertusburg of 1763; this region was Prussian until 1871 and German until the end of World War II.
Ladek-Zdrój (German: Bad Landeck) is a town in Klodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Ladek-Zdrój, close to the Czech border. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.
It lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) south-east of Klodzko, and 88 kilometres (55 mi) south of the regional capital Wroclaw. As at 2006, the town has a population of 6,181. Ladek-Zdrój became famous in Poland because of Stanislaw Bareja's cult film Incredibly peaceful man (Niespotykanie spokojny czlowiek.)
Ladek-Zdrój is one of the oldest health resorts in Europe, surrounded by the Golden Mountains, not far from the majestic summit of Snieznik towering over the Klodzko Land. The town attracted patients and tourists for centuries. The location of the town, the charm of the old town part , together with the greenery of the spa parks create a unique atmosphere.

Konstrukcja pługa odśnieżnego lemieszowo-wirnikowego typu 414S opracowana została w roku 1979 przez centralne Biuro Konstrukcyjne PKP w Poznaniu na zlecenie ówczesnej Dyrekcji Generalnej PKP. Prototyp wykonały ZNTK w Stargardzie Szczecińskim w roku 1980 i został on poddany badaniom eksploatacyjnym zimą 1980/81, a następnie – po udoskonaleniu części wirnikowej – zimą 1981/82.
Usuwanie śniegu może odbywać się w zależności od potrzeb – stroną lemieszową (czoło „A”) lub stroną wirnikową (czoło „B”). Po stronie lemieszowej pług wyposażony jest łamany lemiesz czołowy oraz dwa lemiesze boczne. W zależności od ich ustawienia, śnieg (o grubości warstwy do 1,5 m) może być usuwany na jedną lub obie strony toru. Przy maksymalnym rozstawieniu lemieszy bocznych szerokość odśnieżania wynosi 6160 mm. Czoło „B” wyposażone jest w urządzenie wirnikowe do usuwania śniegu o grubości do 3 m i odrzucania go na odległość 20-40 m, na dowolną stronę toru.
Pług typu 414S wyposażony jest także w obrotnicę z napędem hydraulicznym, zabudowaną w środku podwozia, umożliwiającą zmianę czoła (lemiesze lub wirnik) na szlaku kolejowym, przez obrócenie pługa o 180 stopni.
Lemieszowo-wirnikowy pług odśnieżny typu 414S, jest pojazdem samodzielnym energetycznie (posiada zespół prądotwórczy), jednak nie posiada własnego napędu. Dlatego też, do pchania pługa podczas jego pracy niezbędna jest lokomotywa o mocy co najmniej 1250 kW (1700 KM).
Prezentowany pług 414S jest jednym z dwóch zbudowanych pojazdów tego typu. Przydzielony był początkowo do Lokomotywowni Tłuszcz na terenie dawnej Centralnej DOKP, a następnie stacjonował w Siedlcach. Został ostatecznie wycofany z eksploatacji w roku 2010 i trafił do Muzeum Kolejnictwa w Warszawie.
