Siddavatam fort is located just 25 km away from kadapa city . Before the kadapa , siddavatam was treated as official head quarters of present kadapa district . Even today the fort looks good and strong . but all the palaces and buildings inside got demolished in the course of nature and attacks from the other kings or Europeans .

Sri Maleswara Swamy Temple is an ancient temple located in pendlimarri mandal in Cuddapah district. Polathala is a small Village/hamlet in Pendlimarri Mandal in YSR Kadapa. Sri Maleswara Swamy Temple is located 24 KM from Kadapa. The preceding deities are Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple and Sri Parvathi Ammavaru. This temple is also know as Polathala Akkadevathala gudi (seven sisters Temple) and very famous temple in kadapa, Chittoor, Anantapur, Kurnool and some parts of karnataka.
Maha Shivratri is celebrated for 3 days as jatara every year with the support of temple authorities and Andhra Pradesh government. The whole area is loaded with devotees and pilgrims at the time of jatara. Approximate 5 to 6 lac peoples visits this temple jatara to get the blessings from the deities. The pilgrims first take a holy bath in sacred pond near the temple and then they go for darshanam of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy and Sri Parvathi Ammavaru.
