Welcome to Singapore, one of the smallest countries in the world. Singapore is an island state located off the southern tip of the Malaysian peninsula in Southeast Asia.
Besides being the world’s 2nd wealthiest country (second only to Qatar), Singapore is extremely clean and safe, boasting superior air quality and of course tons of great things to see, do and eat!
Welcome to Gardens by the Bay one of the most amazing and botanical gardens in the world. A few things you can see here is the flower dome, the cloud forest, several gardens and the supertrees.
The Supertrees are living and breathing sculptures rising above the gardens. For epic views, head up to the top of these supertrees and stroll along the 22-meter-high aerial walkway known as the Skyway to experience the Marina Bay area from a bird’s eye view.
Next up we visit China Town! It's a great place to do some souvenir shopping, eat some local Chinese food and walk around.
One of the highlights about visiting Singapore is to eat at a hawker center. This is a huge food court full of stalls. You need to eat Indian, Malaysian and Chinese. It's very inexpensive!
The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is one of Asia’s most iconic buildings and home to the world’s most renowned infinity pool. To visit the pool you must be a guest of the hotel, but you can experience incredible views from the Skypark observation deck or from one of the 57th floor restaurants.
Welcome to the Singapore Zoo! It was founded in 1973, we take a quick tour through the zoo to see the asian animals. Singapore Zoo was the first zoo in the world to have free roaming orangutans.
The River Safari is located right next to the Singapore Zoo. It’s a fascinating journey through some of the world’s largest river systems like the Nile and the Mississippi. I was especially excited to visit the Giant Panda Forest.
We are inside Thian Hock Keng Temple. It was constructed in the 1840s using the best materials from China at the time. In 1973 it was declared a national monument. Admission is free!
Orchard Road is a major tourist attraction, and when you look around it’s easy to see why. This is where you come for some serious retail therapy, and with more than 10 shopping centers, there is plenty to choose from. The 20-storey Paragon is perhaps the most famous along the strip, with stores like Gucci, Prada and Burberry. It boasts over 200 stores in all.
The Singapore Flyer is the worlds largest observation wheel. This ferris wheel has 28 capsules, each fits 28 people and it takes 28 minutes to do a complete rotation.
Little India is where the Indian community settled in over 200 years ago. Now a days it is a commercial district. They have converted these shop houses into restaurants, shops, jewelry stores and offices. It's a great place to buy gold and try indian food!
Singapore’s Changi Airport is second to none! You may actually want to have a layover here because of how many things there are to do – from a butterfly garden, to shopping and dining, relaxation areas, movie theatre, art installations, a swimming pool, and much much more.

The Imperial City is entered through the Gates of Heavenly Peace.After seven years of construction, Ming Emperor Zhu Di moved into his newly-established palace complex in which over eight thousand people lived in almost a thousand rooms. The palace served as both a residential and governmental seat to the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. A stone’s throw away from the old Summer Palace is the Garden of Harmonious Unity that was the favourite garden of the Emperor’s household who retreated to its cool lakeside shores during the humid months of summer. Close to Badaling the Great Wall Of China extends majestically across misty mountains. It is the largest Man-made structure in the world and was erected to protect the country from invasion from the North. The gigantic wall represented the division of two very different cultures. On one side the Central Asian Nomads and on the other the highly developed civilisation of the emerging Chinese Empire. Shanghai is a Gigantic City and a meeting point of both east and west. The shoreline is without a doubt the city’s main focal point and is a combination of past, present and future and contains the historic monuments and eye catching buildings of a great city. Famous explorer Marco Polo referred to Suzhou as the ‘Venice of the East’, a city that is particularly famous for its gardens. Many of its extremely elegant buildings are remnants of a glorious past. Yunnan´s most famous site is the unique Stone Forest Of Shi Lin, a forest of rock that extends for 27,000 hectares. Hong Kong is a city of the superlative with glimmering skyscrapers that seem to take root in the sky and one elegant building after another with shining glass and hi-tech facades. China is a world within a world!

1. The Singapore Botanic Gardens is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Singapore. The gardens are home to a variety of plant life, as well as a few animals including the endangered Malayan tapir.
The gardens are also home to the National Orchid Garden, which is the largest orchid garden in the world. Admission to the Botanic Gardens is free, making it a great activity for those on a budget.

With its history going back to 1849 when it started as the Raffles Library and Museum, the National Museum of Singapore is the nation’s oldest museum and one of the city’s major landmarks.

While the hill isn't the tallest in Singapore, Mount Faber's top offers exceptional views of Singapore's increasingly dense central business district and is the perfect hiking spot in Singapore. You can hike to its top via Marang Trail or the Southern Ridges Park Connector. Both paths will take you through secondary rainforests that cover its slopes.
5. MacRitchie Treetop Walk
Set among the rainforests of MacRitchie Nature Reserve, the Treetop Walk is a highlight of many a hiking trails that go through these forests.
The walkway is a free-standing suspension bridge that connects the two highest points in MacRitchie and offers a bird's eye view of the plants and animals that live in the forest canopy.

Get a spot on the Event Plaza in the Promenade and watch the three towers throw multicoloured light beams into the Singapore night. Watch the 15-minute show unfold in a four-part story, and a beautiful symphony of dancing fountain jets, colourful visual projections and lasers – all led by an orchestral soundtrack.

A temple nested in the Chinatown district, the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple is one of the most sacred places in Singapore and is a popular tourist destination.
The Temple draws Buddhist devotees from across the world as it houses an alleged tooth of the founder of Buddhism, Siddharta Gautama. This place of worship can be visited for free by locals and tourists.

Jewel Changi Airport, also known as Jewel or Jewel Changi, is a nature-themed entertainment and retail complex located at Changi Airport, Singapore. It’s linked to three of its passenger terminals.
The centerpiece of Jewel Changi Airport is the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, known as the Rain Vortex, which is surrounded by a terraced forest setting. This unique feature has made it a popular attraction for both locals and tourists.
The complex offers a wide array of experiences. It houses gardens, attractions, a hotel, and about 300 retail and dining outlets. It also provides early baggage check-in aviation facilities.
One of the key attractions is the Shiseido Forest Valley, an indoor garden spanning five storeys. The topmost level features the Canopy Park, which offers gardens and leisure facilities.
Jewel Changi Airport covers a total gross floor area of 135,700 square meters, spanning 10 storeys – five above-ground and five basement levels. It receives about 300,000 visitors per day.
The complex was officially opened on 18 October 2019. Since its opening, it has become a symbol of Singapore’s commitment to providing world-class facilities and experiences to its visitors.
