CATEMACO Veracruz Mexico (SO BEAUTIFUL!)
Catemaco VERACRUZ Mexico is a very special place located on Laguna de Catemaco in Los Tuxtlas Biosphere Reserve.
Catemaco Veracruz is surrounded by the dense jungle surroundings and is also known for its traditions in witchcraft as many brujos live in Catemaco. The most popular thing to do in Catemaco is take a boat tour on Lake Catemaco to see all the sights on the lake so thats exactly what we did! After the boat tour we took a taxi to El Salto Eyipantla in San Andres Tuxtla. This waterfall is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth checking out when you are in Catemaco Veracruz.

WE SLEPT IN THE JUNGLE in Nanciyaga Catemaco Veracruz!
While in Catemaco Veracruz we called the Nanciyaga Ecological Reserve home for 2 nights. Nanciyaga is located just 7 km from the center of Catemaco and is located on the banks of Laguna de Catemaco, Lake Catemaco.
You can either visit Nanciyaga on a day trip or you can spend the night in one of their cabanas in the jungle! At Nanciyaga they do jungle tours, spiritual cleansings, mud masks, temazcals, kayaking and so much more! It really is a wonderful place to escape and relax in Los Tuxtlas VERACRUZ Mexico.

Catemaco, Veracruz: A Peaceful Sunday Morning in this Tropical Town - MEXICO w/Mike Vondruska
In this episode of EXPLORE MEXICO, enjoy this peaceful Sunday morning in the hidden tropical paradise found in Catemaco, Veracruz.
In this travel video, you will NOT see any foreign tourists.
What you WILL see is real Mexican life unfolding on a weekend morning in this lakeside town.
Catemaco is located 100 miles / 160 km south of the city of Veracruz. It takes about 3 hours by car and 3.5 hours by public bus.
Catemaco is located in what's known as the Los Tuxtlas region of the state of Veracruz. Adjacent to it is the 4th largest lake in Mexico; Lake Catemaco. Pristine Gulf of Mexico beaches are found about one hour from the town.
English is rarely spoken here.
Very few foreign travelers find this tropical hideaway. Very few travel agents or other tour companies have discovered this place for their clients.
Catemaco is geared for the intrepid and adventurous traveler.
There are small 2-3 star hotels and simple locally owned restaurants. Nothing fancy here.
Nearby is tropical rain forests with many hidden streams and beautiful waterfalls.

Robbed in Mexico! The city of BLACK MAGIC Lake Catemaco, Veracruz
Catemaco is one of the most mysterious cities in Mexico. It's nationally for its spiritual cleansing and witchcraft. Aside from the sorcery, its great place to enjoy nature and learn from the Olmeca culture.
Lake Catemeco is home to the best shamans of Mexico. Mexican's from all over the nation come to visit for it spiritual cleansing, black magic and beautiful nature. We came to Catemaco to explore and learn about it's culture and we left with a hilarious experience as we were robbed in Mexico by a monkey.

Catemaco
Catemaco Mexico in the state of Veracruz is located in the southern part of the state.I took a day trip from the city of Veracruz.We left about 7 am and returned about 8 pm.The cost of the trip was about $70 per person.Along the way to Catemaco we stopped at several roadside stands and also visited some of the smaller towns along the way.This video portrays a beautiful waterfall in Catemaco.In a follow up video,I will show you a beautiful lake we explored by boat.Theres many things to say about the lake tour but this video here is the highlight of a very beautiful waterfall.I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.
