TRIP REPORT: Day-trip to Lake Maggiore within 11 hours!
This is a video documenting my short but sweet time flying out from London, UK, to Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy. During my day-trip I see the pretty town of Stresa and the beautiful island of Isola Bella. Between departure and arrival back in London, I was gone less than 11 hours! The Lakes in Northern Italy are truly idyllic, with views I will not forget in a hurry. I can't wait to venture back to this part of the world as soon as COVID steps aside.

Amalfi's Valle dell Ferriere (Valley of the Ironworks) Hike - 4K - with Captions!
This hiking tour of Amalfi was filmed in two parts starting Sunday January 16th, 2022 and again on March 13th, 2022. This walk starts at the ruins of the Basilica Sant'Eustachio in the town of Pontone. The hike will take you through the Valle delle Ferriere (Valley of the Ironworks) and then through the Valle dei Mulini (Valley of the Mills). The walk concludes with a tour of Amalfi and a walk along the beach. For the best experience, be sure to turn on closed captions [CC] and wear headphones ???? as you watch this tour.

I'm one year in building a homestead in these two stone barns at this plot of land in the mountains in Piedmont, Italy. The first months I focused on the electricity, water connection and creating comfortable space to live on the land, whilst I was waiting for the building permit.

Complete Renovation of a Traditional Stone Roof in the Italian Alps
The renovation of the first roof in one video. I started in July 2022 and got it weather tight just before the snow arrived in November. The rain gutters are made of wood, which took me a long time, dealing with the challenges of winter. In early February the roof was already finished, but I wanted to include the finishing of outside walls in this video as well, which was done in between other jobs. If you want to see the full works and everyday life on the homestead, you can watch weekly videos, which are numbered.

Primo episodio della serie dedicato alla bellissima linea ferroviaria della Val Pusteria, che nel 2021 ha compiuto 150 anni.
Per l'occasione è stato organizzato un treno a vapore con doppia trazione di locomotive del gruppo 740, in forza al parco storico di Fondazione FS.
L'unità 409, al suo primo viaggio inaugurale dopo un restauro durato diversi anni, seguita dalla 278, hanno percorso la linea dalla stazione di Fortezza/Franzensfeste fino a San Candido/Innichen, fermando in tutti i centri abitati serviti dalla ferrovia e riscuotendo consensi sia dagli appassionati di strade ferrate giunti da tutta Europa, sia da parte degli abitanti della Val Pusteria, accorsi in massa per assistere all'evento.
Il filmato si apre con l'arrivo del convoglio storico presso la stazione di Fortezza/Franzensfeste affidato alla splendida E 632.030, a cui segue un bagagliaio in livrea grigio ardesia e cinque carrozze Centoporte nei classici colori castano - isabella.
Il treno vede in coda la vaporiera 740.278 e l'unità 409, quest'ultima decorata sul frontale da un festone floreale e da una targa per ricordare l'evento.
Nel video si può assistere al transito del convoglio sul ponte di Fortezza (presso il forte), l'arrivo nelle stazioni di Casteldarne/Ehrenburg, Valdaora/Olang, Monguelfo/Welsberg, Dobbiaco/Toblach, San Candido/Innichen e al passaggio, in velocità,presso Villabassa/Niederdorf.

В началото на декември месец направих кратка разходка в Италия.
Посетих Верона и красивите курортни градчета Лимоне, Сирмионе, Дезенцано, които се намират около езерото Гарда. Поводът беше, че имах рожден ден, а и двупосочен билет за 16 евро до любимата ми Италия не звучеше никак зле.
Била съм на много места в Италия, но досега не бях виждала нито едно от известните италиански езера на живо. Затова от Бергамо, взехме кола под наем и тръгнахме към Верона. Разходихме се из този прекрасен град няколко часа и пак се качихме на колата за да отидем до най-голямото езеро в Италия- Гарда. Наистина е огромно, като море заобиколено от заснежени върхове.
Щом съм в Италия няма как да пропусна и вкусната храна. Това е ясно. Посетих ресторант, в който искам да ям отдавна. Това бяха най-добрите тортелини в бульон, които някога съм опитвала!
За рожденният ми ден бяхме резервирали предварително маса в ресторант с 1 звезда Мишлен в Дезенцано. Успяхме да се видим с приятели, които живеят извън България и специално заради нас бяха дошли в Италия. Имаше коледен дух и беше незабравимо преживяване за мен!
Надявам се скоро да посетя и друго италианско езеро, но със сигутност ще е през лятото. Това е най-подходящия сезон за подобни обиколки.
