New Mexico's parks are less crowded many other western parks but still have stunning scenery. On this trip we drive from South to North. Starting by exploring 3 of the least visited National Parks in the country- White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mts..
In Alamogordo we visit New Mexico's Space History Museum and see rockets tested at the nearby missile range.
We go to one of my favorite places- 3 Rivers Petroglyphs site to hike among 20,000 ancient rock carvings and meet a blind lady in her 70 who enjoys hiking!
On the road north we go to the UFO museum in Roswell. And then walk on a Lava Field at the Valley of Fires BLM camping area, before visiting the Trinity Site.
In Albuquerque we visit the 4 sites of Petroglyph Monument including a volcano field! While looking at a map I saw a marker for Coronado State Park, so we make an unscheduled stop to see the remains an old adobe village on the Rio Grande where Spanish Conquistador Coronado once stayed- until the battle.
We make a quick stop at a stone church built in 1621. On our way to Super Volcano- or at least its remains-- Valles Caldera.
The highlight of the northern part of the trip is the cliff dwellings at Bandelier National Monument. We visit the cliff houses and see the nearby stone village.
We make a quick stop in Santa Fe and another in Taos before flying over the spectacular Rio Grande Gorge Bridge before our final stop on top of a cinder cone volcano and Capulin Volcano National Monument.

All you need to know before you visit Carlsbad Village, Legoland, the beach and the flower fields in San Diego, CA!
Jaycation Visits Carlsbad, California in San Diego and takes you around all the fun family friendly places around this northern San Diego County town! We start off at Carlsbad State Beach and have lunch at the popular Board & Brew Specialty Sandwich Shop. After lunch we roam around Carlsbad Village and explore the various shops and restaurants that are popular in this area. We also head to the Carlsbad Lagoon for water sports and the Carlsbad Strawberry Fields.
We also go shopping at the Carlsbad Premium Outlets home to Levis, Nike, Under Armour, Lids and more popular brands! We also drop by the BRAND NEW Windmill Food Hall and check out the different food stands. After we head to Karl Strauss Brewing Company, The Carlsbad Flower Fields and take a little peak at the Legoland California Resort!

Welcome to Carlsbad, San Diego! This coastal city features the festive Carlsbad Village, beachfront bike paths, and incredible outdoor recreational activities.
In this vlog, we base ourselves at the Westin in Carlsbad and check out the dining, live music, sunsets. We also visit Southern California's only oyster farm, the Carlsbad Aquafarm to see how the local seafood is harvested.
One of the best ways to enjoy Carlsbad is by bike, so we rent e-bikes from Pedego and ride along PCH to enjoy the Carlsbad cliffs and views of the surfers.

In this video we tour Carlsbad California, the Village by the Sea and walk around near Carlsbad State Beach and Carlsbad Village. I will give you a tour of our stay at the Springhill Suites, and excellent hotel by Marriott just blocks from Carlsbad State Beach. We also lucked out and tried a happening ramen restaurant called Gonzo that was nearby.
We loved Carlsbad and we wish we had more time to visit!
