Join us in this video as we list what we feel are the Top 10 Restaurants in Lima, Peru for Peruvian food. Of course, any kind of list is subjective but overall these are our favorite restaurants in Lima and just thinking about them makes our mouths water. Lima is such a foodie city that every single time we come back to revisit we find new restaurants to add to our list of favorites. For instance, on our latest trip we tried Tanta, , Papacho's and El Bodegon for the first time. In terms of Peruvian food we'd recommend trying classics such as ceviche, lomo saltado, papa a la huancahina, acevichado, empanadas, chifa, nikkei, triples and churros come to mind. Vale la pena saber que Lima es una ciudad bastante caótica, el llegar e ir al aeropuerto restara bastante tiempo de tus días por lo cual hay que tener en cuenta esto para saber cuanto van a poder recorrer.

Ademas tambien el centro queda bastante lejos de las zonas donde todo el mundo se suele alojar que es San Isidro o Miraflores, por cierto , las zonas mas lindas y seguras de Lima.

Tanto esos barrio como Barranco en nuestra opinión son los puntos imprescindibles que visitar en Lima.

Y despues claro , para conocer un poco de la historia de Peru si o si hay que dirigirse al centro. En cada uno esta si agregar mas cultura con museos , o mas gastronomía. Lo que hicimos nosotros es algo básico para aquellos que quieren irse con un pantallazo de Lima.

Lima is an incredibly livable city! No graffiti, no homelessness, and friendly people all around. What a GREAT first impression of Peru we had. We were both totally unprepared for the green and clean nature of Lima. We met some very friendly locals, had our first taste of Peruvian food, noticed the weather, the busses, and all of the people enjoying the parks. We think Lima has got to be the safest and cleanest capital city in South America, that we have ever been to.
We didn't really know what to expect from Lima - when we think of Peru we only knew Machu Picchu. But, in the end, Peru is more than just Machu Picchu! Lima is a very livable city that we are looking forward to spending the next one month (or more?) in! During this time we will be diving into Peruvian food, both Pre-Columbian and the more Spanish dishes, we will try to learn more about Native Culture and Peruvian culture, both by visiting traditional markets and talking to the people we meet. And we will take you along with us, every step of the way with our Peru travel vlogs, Peru travel guides, as well as, of course, food vlogs!

- chaufa Amazónico: Amazon fried rice with plantain and dried pork
- ceviche: raw fish cured in lime juice with sweet potato, corn, red onions, and fried calamari

Today I take you on a walking tour through Miraflores! I have been on many tours of Miraflores and also watched video on Miraflores. BY FAR, this is the best tour you will ever see! This tour has EVERYTHING you need to know and see when visiting Miraflores in Peru.
[The Tour]
We start at the main Miraflores Roundabout! We start at Miraflores Central Park and head towards Parroquia La Virgen Milagrosa (The Catholic Church). Have a quick bite at Bembos for the Fast Food, then towards Parque John F. Kennedy to see some cats.
We then say hi to The Chess Hustlers of Lima before seeing some ancient ruins at Huaca Pucllana with a Llamas bonus feature! We then walk down Berlin Street to see some bars, and then take a look at some Restaurants and Street Food. I talk a little about the Casinos here and show you the The Best Place in Miraflores (Noriplay)!
We then take a look at a local supermarket called: Metro, before Shopping for Souvenirs at Inka Market and the Indian Market. We have a little look at CompuPalace for Electronics and Video Games. We then head towards the ocean and see the Beach and Cliffside Views. Our last stop is Larcomar! WHere we have a little look around and finish the tour at a Peruvian Restaurant called MANGOES where we try some Peruvian Ceviche!

CALCA, PERU ???????? TRAVELING TO A RANDOM PERUVIAN CITY WITHOUT A PLAN
Today we travel to a random city in Peru without knowing anything about it. We take a colectivo to a town nearby (Calca) and explore the place. The Covid 19 pandemic is still in full force, so travel isn't easy, and towns are mostly empty. Calca is a city in the Sacred Valley region, close to Pisac, and so it was not hard to get to. We have some Peruvian food, make someone's day, and see what Calca has to offer. Because of the covid pandemic, most things are closed in the city, so we don't get to see everything. Overall, this is a weird day, driving to a town we know nothing about, walking around, and exploring a new place in Peru we haven't been. This is the Calca Peru Covid 19 travel vlog.

Today we're taking you on a tasty Peruvian breakfast tour across the neighbourhood of Miraflores in Lima, Peru. During our visit to the city, we made it our mission to sample as many different breakfasts as possible. Some of the places we visited specialized in a more traditional Peruvian breakfast (pork and sweet potato sandwiches, tamales and chicken blood), while some had more of a colonial Spanish influence (churros and tortillas), and others had more of a contemporary menu (crepes with manjar blanco). We hope this video will give you an idea of the various breakfast foods you can find in Peru, because whether you prefer a sweet or savoury breakfast, there's something for everyone!

Chicama, Peru 2022 The longest wave // Peru Travel Guide
Puerto Malabrigo ‐ commonly known as Chicama - desert coastal town.
Ever since we thought of visiting Peru's coast, Chicama was always on the top of our to-go places mainly due to the legendary status of longest left waves in the world.
The city lays on top of a tall cliff with its back to a vast desert populated with mountains and dunes while the front greets you with the Pacific Ocean.
It is certain to say that most foreigners who come to Chicama come for the waves. From the very beginner to the experienced surfers, short board, funboard or longboards, all can have an incredible session here.
We are happy to share with you what we saw and experienced in Chicama, May 2022.

THE SUN GATE ???????? MOST STUNNING HIKE IN THE SACRED VALLEY | INTI PUNKU, PERU
Today we hike (on horses) to Inti Punku AKA Sun Gate in Ollantaytambo, Peru. This is one of the most stunning and best hikes in The Sacred Valley and Cusco region. Sun Gate is located on top of a mountain, and it's an Inca site far out of reach to most people. It takes many hours to hike to get to the top of the mountain where Sun Gate resides. There is a lot of speculation as to what Sun Gate really is. Was it for sacrifice? Pilgrimage? Or an entrance to Machu Picchu hundreds of years ago. Inti Punku looks like a gate to the heavens, one of the most stunning places possibly in all of Peru. You can take horses even though it's not necessarily something tourists and tour companies do. You have to find a family who owns horses to take them up. Watch to find out more about Inti Punku or Sun Gate in Ollantaytambo. This is the Peru Travel Vlog.
