Goa is the party state of India and its clear that Candolim serves the purpose for nationals and tourists to let their hair down. Beer and general alcohol prices are very cheap in Goa and easily found, unlike other parts of India.

We also book a tour to go and see Dudhsagar waterfall but unfortunately it's not something we can recommend due to the amount of time on the road. If you get motion sickness then be very cautious of the Jeep Safari as its a very bumpy 45 minute ride to get to Dudhsagar waterfall!

Top 10 GOA:
Goa is a state in western India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian Sea. Its long history as a Portuguese colony prior to 1961 is evident in its preserved 17th-century churches and the area’s tropical spice plantations. Goa is also known for its beaches, ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda.
1.Shantadurga Temple:
This current temple structure of Shree Shantadurga Devasthan was built during the period from 1713 AD to 1738 AD by Naroram Rege Mantri.On 4 December 2016, the temple completed its 450th year of existence.
2.Aguada Fort:
Another heritage from the Portuguese, Fort Aguada has been standing stern on the beach facing the Arabian Sea from 1612 when it was built in order to provide defence against the invading Dutch and the Marathas. The beautiful golden stretch of sand and scintillating water coupled with the gentle rhythms of pop music that plays here makes it the perfect destination for a laidback afternoon. 2. Fort Aguada : Standing on the crumbling ramparts of what was once the most formidable and impregnable of the Portuguese forts in India, one looks out at a panoramic ocean vista, witnessing the confluence of the Mandovi River and Arabian Sea, over which the fort has kept watch for more than four hundred years. 3. Mandrem Beach : Mandrem Beach is a perfect place to release all your worries and relax in the lap of nature. Located in North Goa, the beach is an oasis of tranquility and solitude. One can relish the beautiful view of sunset and spot some white-bellied fish eagles. 4. Basilica of Bom Jesus : The Basilica of Bom Jesus or Borea Jezuchi Bajilika is located in Goa, India, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The basilica holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. The church is located in OldGoa, which was the capital of Goa in the early days of Portuguese rules. 5. Agonda Beach : The Agonda Beach is an isolated place that makes this place more beautiful, silent, quiet, and peaceful as lots of tourist attraction is not seen over here. The beach in itself is very calm and peaceful, at times tourists come here from Rajneesh Ashram in Pune to take a break. 9. Dudhsagar Falls : The majestic cascade of white water, gushing over the steep, nearly vertical face of the mountain from a spectacular height of 1017ft; is both breath taking and awe inspiring, making one aware that there are many forces in nature much more powerful that the human mind and body. 10. Reis Magos Fort : The fort of Reis Magos is located to the extreme south of the Bardez taluka at the northern bank of the river Mandovi. This fort was built by the Portuguese Viceroy Afonso de Noronha between 1551 and 1554 and was again rebuilt in 1703 and played an important part in the defense of Goa in 1739, against the Marathas.Only the Reis Magos Fort and the Aguada Fort were left in the hands of the Portuguese.

In this vlog, we give you all a quick tour of things to do in Candolim.
Situated close to bustling streets of Calangute and Baga, Candolim is a great base from with to explore the most famous beaches in North Goa. Its location makes it an ideal place to stay if you also want to discover the highlights of Central Goa, including the bustling city of Panjim and the fascinating landmarks of Old Goa. The beach also offers various water sports activities and is relatively less crowded than Anjuna, Baga and Calangute.
The Sinquerim Fort that is located at a distance of 18 km from Panaji. The fort stands overlooking the Sinquerim beach and bisects the shoreline into two.
The fort was built to guard Goa against the Dutch and served as a reference point for vessels coming from Europe. On the right hand side of the fort lies the Taj Holiday Village resort. In a distance one can see the Candolim beach. Between the Taj holiday resort and the lower fort lies the Sinquerim beach. One can find many tour operators here who conduct waters port activities such as jet ski, paragliding and dolphin tours.
