I love mindoro!
Located just a few hours from the Philippine capital Manila, the island of Mindoro is a popular tourist destination for many city dwellers seeking the sun, sea, and sand. The mango fruit-shaped island is divided into two provinces: Oriental Mindoro and Occidental Mindoro. Travel Authentic Philippines offers a variety of Mindoro tours.

Aside from the very popular but still quite beautiful beaches of the island, people also come for the great outdoors featuring rivers, lakes, and gorgeous mountains. Diving is also a popular activity given that the island’s proximity to one of the richest diving spots in the country.
For most tourists, entry to Mindoro is via the regular ferries from the Southern Luzon province of Batanggas. The port in Batanggas is only two to three hours by land from Manila. The popular tourist destinations of Coron in Palawan and Caticlan (for Boracay) are also connected to Mindoro via ferries.
Mindoro island, as with the rest of the Philippines, has its monsoon season in the months of June to early December. When visiting during this time of the year, it is recommended to make contingency plans for ferry and flight cancellations. The best time to visit are anywhere from January to March. December holiday season and the school holiday season of April and May are also good in terms of weather, but it is best to plan ahead during these times as tourist destinations become crowded.

Thanks for watching!

CALINTAAN CAVE- Sorsogon

Caving!

Part 4 Video Vlog of our Matnog, Sorsogon Tour. Another first time experience. A little cautious kay bangin mayda nano sa ilarum san tubig and sa sulod san cave hahaha. But my fears went away when we saw the beauty of the cave, as you can see it has a very clear water.

Travel Guide:
~Boat Rental for Island Hopping (good for 10person only):
Php1,600 Day Tour
Php2,000 Overnight

We recommend Kuya Alex C. Geneblazo and kuya Bitoy’s boat, contact no. 09183045437, dahil maganda service nila at sila may-ari ng Juag Lagoon Marine Sanctuary. Check their FB Page here,

~Pay a fee at Tourism Office first:
Php70 for Filipino
Php320 for Foreigner
~Bring floaters and life vest for safety. Mayroon naman ang boatmen pero limited lang po.
~Buy your supplies at the Market (just near at Tourism Office), foods/condiments/water/any because price at the Island is more expensive.
~You may bring a camera while swimming but make sure it is water proof (not just water resistant) so that you can take video under the sea.
~Drunk/ Under the Influence of Alcohol is NOT allowed to swim.
~It is best to go to the cave during LOW TIDE
~Be careful when going up the jumping area, check the deepest part where you will jump and relax yourself first before jumping.
