Kapag sinabing Batangas, unang-unang papasok sa isipan natin ang mga naggagandahang beaches, mga luma at milagrosong simbahan, at mga picturesque na bundok na dinarayo ng mga turista. Pero isa sa hindi masyadong nabibigyang pansin ay ang pagkain!
Ang Batangas cuisine ay sobrang diverse! Ang Batangas kasi ay mayaman sa natural resources na maaaring pagkuhanan ng iba’t ibang ingredients. Idagdag mo pa ang mahabang kasaysayan ng probinsya bilang settlement, kaya naman makikita rin ang iba’t ibang influences mula sa labas. Ilan sa mga signature dishes ng Batangas ay ang adobo sa dilaw, tapang Taal, sinaing na tulingan, at ang perfect-sa-taglamig na bulalo. Pero pagdating sa merienda, ang pinaka-paborito naming mga Batangueno ay walang iba kundi – LOMI!

Walking around the sleepy town of Nasugbu Batangas Philippines. Nasagbu Batangas Philippines is known for many things, but mostly their diving spots, the Greece-Inspired Fortune Island, beaches, and Dalampasigan. Nasugbu is a very popular spot for Metro Manila locals as it is only a little over 2 hours away, and makes for a nice weekend getaway or day trip if started very early in the morning. Now of course this video is NOT about the beaches or resorts, or any of those tourist attractions as most of you know that my channel is more about the local scene. So enjoy this video which was filmed in the sleepy town of Poblacion, Nasugbu Batangas Philippines. Once you hang out with the locals, then feel free to visit the popular beaches and attractions. It started in September 2021. I got to chance to participate as a researcher for a team of urban planners designing an eco-tourism plan for Calaca, Batangas. From that month to March of 2022, we frequented the quaint town - from the upland barangays down to coastal villages along the Balayan Bay - to survey prospectives sites, issues, and people's perception on tourism as an industry and sustainability. This video is a modest (a fraction, actually) documentation on what the town, which is soon to be a city, has to offer. ????????????????

This travel and staycation vlog is based on our overnight stay at Camper and Cabin's Vintage Airstream Suite. We've previously stayed at their Cabin 2 (see here for vlog - This time we're trying their Airstream Suite.
We were very excited to try the Airstream as it is truly a unique stay and of course the beautiful view you get to see if you're staying at Camper and Cabin.

It's really such a unique experience to stay at their Airstream Suite. It has a living room area, small dining area, a kitchen, and a bedroom. The toilet and bath is separate and is just a few steps away from the Airstream. Our favorite is the deck which offers a vast view of mountains and greenery.

Camper and Cabin is located in Calaca, Batangas, Philippines. This luxury staycation place is near Tagaytay and is just roughly 2 hour drive from Manila.
