Best Cenotes of Yucatan! Tour De Cenotes Homun
We took a trip to Merida Yucatan, and while we were there we had to visit cenotes! We found that some of the Best Cenotes of Yucatan were in the town of Homun. The area is also known as The Ring of Cenotes for the large of cenotes that exist.
Homun is an extremely hospitable town, and we were extremely lucky to find the best Cenotes Tour Guide! We chose to roll with Jesus Dzul Chale, he also goes by El Búho, which means owl. You can contact Jesus at his page
You will not regret it. He is so kind, and knowledgable, you will enjoy your time.
The Tour Cenotes Homun Yucatan we went on included 4 cenotes. If you want to extend the tour Jesus is more than happy to take you on an extended tour.
The 4 Cenotes we visited were, in order of appearance:
• Cenote Balmil 00:40
• Cenote Canunchen 01:26
• Cenote Yaxbacaltun 02:09
• Cenote Tza-ujun Kat 02:22 (I forgot to label in the video)

In The Yucatan: Homes - Hacienda Mulsay de la Magdalena
Mulsay, which means hill of red ants in Maya, was a Mayan site long before colonial times. Its colonial birth was most likely quite early, in the XVI/XVII centuries, as the property close to Merida was given to the Montejo family and their lieutenants. Mulsay was owned by Juan de Montejo y Maldonado, grandson of Francisco de Montejo El Mozo part of the founder family of Merida. Dating from the 17th century, Hacienda Mulsay is one of the oldest colonial estates in the Yucatan. Agent Eric Partney takes us for a tour of this spectacular property...

Uno de los atractivos de Yucatán son los cenotes, y los de Cuzama son de los más representativos, debido a que para llegar a ellos, te tienes que transportar en truck, un carrito jalado por un caballo por unas rieles como de tren, antiguamente se utilizaban en la fabricación de henequén en las haciendas.
El precio por truck es de $350 pesos y pueden subir 4 personas, en el lugar te proporcionan chaleco salvavidas en caso de que los necesites.
Te permiten estar en cada cenote por 30 minutos, y te levan a visitar dos cenotes tipo caverna y una cueva a la que tienes que entrar por las raíces de un árbol.
Sin duda alguna, es una experiencia que tienes que probar.
