Our Northern Samar adventure is not over yet, from Biri Island we headed straight to Brgy. Imaga and stayed at Villa Leonor. Unfortunately we weren’t able to booked a room for the 3 of us, we just settled in to stay in a cottage. No regrets, Villa Leonor is really safe and the owners are approachable. Below are the complete details: (also, i have some few clips in Calbayog City)

HOW TO GET THERE?
⭕ From Calbayog or Catbalogan, ride a van going to Allen P100-P200/person. From Catarman, ride a jeep going to Allen P50-P60/person.
⭕ After arriving in the terminal,
Negotiate your driver to drop you off where habal-habal drivers are that will bring you straight to Cabacungan (Villa Leonor) P40-50/person.
⭕️ Punta Rock in Cabacungan is just walking distance from Villa Leonor. be careful when walking some of the rocks are slippery.

Decided to go in one of Samar's go-to getaways.
Caba Beach is a white sand beach located in Barangay Cabacungan, Allen Northern Samar. The beach is a sandy gulf with aquamarine waters. The beachfront is wide enough to play beach volley and frisbee. The water is safe and doesn't go sudden deep. You can rent a kayak with your friends to enjoy the calm waters. Caba is also just a few meters away from the famous Imaga Beach. I haven't really stayed for so long as I only did a side trip because I checked in at the latter.

How To Get There?
1. From Calbayog, ride a van going to Allen (fare is PhP 100).
2. Upon arriving at the van terminal, ride a pedicab and tell the driver to drop you at the habal-habal stop for Cabacungan (Fare is PhP 10).
3. Ride a habal-habal to Cabacungan, tell the driver to drop you at Caba.
You can buy food inside the area network signals are available.
You can ask the habal-habal driver to fetch you at the specified time you like.

CABA BEACH IN NORTHERN SAMAR | SAMAR, PHILIPPINES
This is one of the beautiful beaches in Northern Samar, Philippines. It offers a nice view, long shoreline, cheap cottages and good food. I have taken my family so they can enjoy the place and bonding moment of course.

????Villa leonor offer two storey house good for 10 pax, for only 3,500pesos. This includes gas stoves. Additional 10pesos per head entrance fee and parking fee.

Going to Allen Northern Samar, particularly in Imaga Rock formation exceeded my expectations. I was very curious about going since it is so famous on Facebook and I have lots of friends who have already gone there. It's around 3-hour ride from my hometown in Catbalogan Samar and around 2 hours from the nearest city in western Samar, Calbayog City.
Going there, I realized that Allen isn't just an important port of inter-island transport that connects Samar and the Island of Luzon. It is also a vacation getaway where you can experience white sand beaches, towering cliffs, and majestic rock formations.
My favorite is the Imaga Rock Formation where you can go up to a very high cliff and witness the breathtaking sunset (as shown in my video). There is no established trail going up and you will go through some sharp and slippery rocks. Going up is difficult and challenging but you will be rewarded with an astonishing view when you reach the top of the cliff. You can jump to the cliff but observe the waves as they can sometimes go very strong. If you do, you will have an unforgettable experience with the courage of taking on one of the best jumps of your life.
There are more must-visit tourist spots in Allen but we've only visited Caba Beach and Imaga Rock Fornation as we have only a day there. Nevertheless, the experience was worth it and as I said, it didn't disappoint.

How to go to ALLEN, NORTHERN SAMAR?
You can reach Northern Samar via Air. Nearest cities namely Calbayog City and Catarman City have airports. You can also get there if your from Manila or Sorsogon through Bus.
How to go to CABACUNGAN AND IMAGA ROCK FORMATION?
From Calbayog – ride a van or bus (Php80.00) for an hour to Allen, Northern Samar. Then from Allen terminal – ask for a habal-habal/tricycle (Php 50.00) going to Cabacungan.
From Catarman – ride a van or bus (Php 50.00) for half an hour to Allen, Northern Samar. From Allen terminal – ask for a habal-habal/tricycle (Php 50.00) going to Cabacungan.
