Monza è un comune italiano di 122748 abitanti, il terzo comune della regione per popolazione dopo Milano e Brescia. In epoca romana è attestata come Moguntiacum (Joannes Georgius Graevius, Thesaurus antiquitatum et historiarum Italiae: Ligurum et Insubrum, seu Genuensium et Mediolanensium), ma altri autori segnalano il vicus di Modicia, anche se nel territorio monzese sono state rinvenute testimonianze di presenza umane molto anteriori. La città conobbe un periodo di particolare rilevanza politica e di intenso sviluppo artistico durante il VII secolo, quando fu capitale estiva del regno longobardo. In seguito la città entrò nei domini del Sacro Romano Impero, pur con ampi margini di autonomia, e infine, dal XI secolo entrò nell'orbita di Milano. Libero comune nel XIII secolo, nel XIV Monza entrò nei domini dei Visconti di Milano, dei quali seguì la sorte passando prima sotto il controllo spagnolo e poi sotto quello asburgico, fino a diventare parte nel 1859 del Regno di Sardegna (poi Regno d'Italia dal 1861).

Agrate Brianza è un comune della provincia di Monza e di Brianza. Il paese vanta circa otto secoli di storia, e ne aveva quattro quando Marco d'Agrate scolpì la statua di San Bartolomeo, che ancora oggi è nel transetto destro del Duomo di Milano.
Tanti complessi industriali per questo bel paese, da quelli alimentari a quelli di elettronica e sopratutto anche tanti centri florovivaistici sul corso del Molgora. Il nome di Agrate deriva forse da Gradate, ma esistono anche tantissime altre ipotesi, certo è che inizialmente il nome fu Gradi, poi Gratis, Grà, Gratum ed infine Agrate.
Molti gli eventi che si svolgono ad Agrate: la manifestazione estiva dal nome Agrate Estate, che raccoglie tutti gli eventi che vanno dal mese di maggio ad Agosto; la stagione lirico sinfonica; la festa patronale della Madonna del Rosario; il mercatino dell'antiquariato che si tiene ogni prima domenica del mese, in piazza, dal nome Mercà d'Agrà. Pare risultare che Agrate sia uno dei comuni più ricchi d'Italia e che è settimo in classifica generale.

Lisbon's beautiful tropical garden is a charming yet often overlooked spot that has maintained all the ponds, towering palm trees, and over 4000 species of tropical plants that it had when it was created in 1906. It is also known as Jardim do Ultramar, and has rare tropical and subtropical trees and plants (many of them endangered species) from all over the world, such as dragon trees from the Canary and Madeira Islands and monkey puzzle trees from South America. Most of them are labeled, so a visit here can also be a learning experience.

SACRO MONTE DI VARESE - Santuario di Santa Maria del Monte (Cappella XV)
Il santuario di Santa Maria del Monte, luogo di pellegrinaggio sin dal Medioevo, funge da quindicesima cappella nel percorso del Sacro Monte di Varese, il cui altare maggiore, imponente macchina barocca eretta da Giuseppe Rusnati nel 1660, rappresenta l'incoronazione della Vergine e custodisce l'effigie della Madonna nera.
Il Sacro Monte di Varese è costituito da quattordici cappelle dedicate ai misteri del Rosario.
