First on the list is the iconic South Bank Parklands, located on the southern bank of the Brisbane River. This is a great place to relax, take a dip in the man-made Streets Beach, and enjoy some delicious food at one of the many restaurants and cafes.
Next up, head over to the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha for a peaceful stroll through its beautiful gardens and a panoramic view of the city. You can also visit the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium and learn about the stars and planets.
For some cultural experiences, check out the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) which houses a vast collection of art from all around the world.
