This Wetland was home to the World's Largest Crocodile in Captivity
The Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in Agusan del Sur. The marshland acts like a sponge, as it is nestled in the midwaters of the Agusan River drainage basin. Within its lakes, several floating communities can be found. The sanctuary was home to the 20.24 feet (6.17 m) saltwater crocodile Lolong, the world's largest captive crocodile.

Davao City is a very big city in terms of land area and it has a lot of roads not frequently passed by commuters like me. So, here's a road trip, seeing the 19 kilometer stretch of Cabantian Road to Bunawan Proper. It is amazing to see the great potential of the Buhangin-Cabantian-Indangan Road passing along barangays Cabantian, Indangan, Acacia, Mahayag and Bunawan has huge potential for industries to rise and provide great opportunities for the communities aroudn. Poldo Falls, Linanot, Brgy. Bunawan, Iligan City (Captured by Oppo A7)
For today’s adventure trip, we went to ????Poldo Falls, Linanot, Brgy. Bunawan, Iligan City!
As this new tourist attraction create buzz for travelers and curious nature lovers, many were intrigued where this so-called Poldo Falls is situated.
HOW TO GET THERE???
From Iligan City proper, commuters may ride a San Roque-line jeepney and get off at San Roque jeepney stop (fare is ₱24/head)
From there, you can find local motorcycles (habal-habal) going to Brgy. Bunawan. No fix fare but you can offer starting ₱100/head.
For private vehicles, you can just follow the route from city proper-San Roque-Bonbonon-Linanot Elementary School.
Few meters away from Linanot Elementary School, turn left (rough road) and from there, travel time takes around 10-15 mins and you will see a signage: POLDO FALLS.
Entrance Fee is ₱5 only! And cottage fee is ₱50 only (you may also choose not to occupy one and just hang out beside the falls)
