Negros Occidental, officially the Province of Negros Occidental, is a province in the Philippines located in the Western Visayas region. Its capital is the city of Bacolod, which it is geographically situated and grouped under the Philippine Statistics Authority, but remains politically independent from the provincial government.
It occupies the northwestern half of the large island of Negros, and borders Negros Oriental, which comprises the southeastern half. Known as the Sugarbowl of the Philippines, Negros Occidental produces more than half the nation's sugar output.

Lakawon Island is an emerging summer destination in Cadiz, Negros Occidental that prides on its powdery white sand and pristine blue waters. You can also find the largest floating bar in Asia there! If you're looking for a summer destination or a beach paradise within Western Visayas aside from Boracay, I could definitely recommend this place! :) It's relatively cheaper than Boracay, too! ;)

Sharing to you my 3 day- vacayy to the South. These were during the month of September after the busy August with no day offs, working from mornings to late nights. We actually had a team building with my co-teachers first since I am teaching English as a second language to Chinese people and currently to Japanese too. During the month of August, there were many Chinese learning English since it’s their summer vacation, the reason why I worked a lot. I decided to stay for more 2 days to explore more places and to capture the beauty of Cauayan, Negros Occidental. Spending lots of time outdoors, getting fresh air in my lungs and sunshine on my skin are very important to my wellbeing. So as much as I enjoy this Earth, I am constantly being reminded to take care of it. ???????? I hope we’re all doing it.
So here you go guys! There is so much to experience in this world and within our spirit. Showing you how frustrated vlogger am I. Still enhancing my creativity and continually living mindfully so I can share you my heart, more of me and my little world.

???? It was used before as a port by Phoenix Mining Company of Sipalay City and also by the municipality which was later abandoned.
???? From here, you can see the white sand beach of Agutaya Island ( A private island ) and the famous Danjugan Island, a marine sanctuary which is one of the gem of Negros Island and a pride of Cauayan.
???? From Bacolod City, it will take you 3-4 hours in order to get here. Clear water, nice ambiance and soothing winds will welcome you as you enter the place. There's no entrance fee but PLEASE don't leave your garbage behind. Always practice CLAYGO and LNT.
???? There are few stores around so make sure to bring all that you need. This is one of the must visit place when you travel south of Negros Occidental. A hidden gem and a place to be treasured.

This video is about a place called Sipalay. A city in Negros Occidental, Philippines. A simple paradise if you just want to relax and unwind. The place is very unique because they have hills like Bohol's Chocolate Hills but beside the bodies of water (sea and river). Moreover, they have beautiful beaches, although not as white (sand) as Palawan, but the quality is very nice. In addition, the rates here are more affordable than many other famous destinations in the Philippines.
