Wegen seiner sehr gut erhaltenen mittelalterlichen Häuser und des Museums im Schloss Werdenberg wird Werdenberg oft von Touristen besucht.

Sweet-tooth's paradise: Chocolat Frey Visitor Centre in Buchs, Switzerland
My visit of Chocolat Frey Visitor Centre in Buchs, near Aarau, in Switzerland.
Chocolat Frey Visitor Centre is a place where visitors are allowed to see how chocolates are made, and of course eat some delicious Frey chocolate.
Chocolate experience consists of two parts: first part is interactive exhibition with multiple stations visitors can walk to with their headphones and learn about the entire process of chocolate making from cocoa bean to bar. In second part visitors can engage in numerous fun interactive experiences and taste as much chocolate as they wish.

Werdenberg is a town with historical town charter in the eastern Swiss canton of St. Gallen. The town of Werdenberg belongs to the municipality of Grabs and is located 0.5 km west of Buchs. It prides itself on being the smallest town in Switzerland with around 55–60 inhabitants. Some of the 40 or so houses are only used as holiday homes. Due to its very well-preserved medieval houses and the museum in Werdenberg Castle, Werdenberg is often visited by tourists. The Werdenberg borders the Principality of Liechtenstein, Heidiland, Toggenburg and the St. Gallen Rhine Valley. Werdenberg has a rich cultural and historical past. Significant architectural monuments testify to this. The architectural ensemble includes two museums - one in the castle and one in the town - which tell the 800-year history of the rulers and their subjects. The small town of Werdenberg is unique from different perspectives. Soon after the castle was built, it received market and town rights. It is noticeable that the city walls were never extended from this period. Unlike other cities, the place did not grow. Train View Between Sargans and Buchs, Switzerland
From Sargans, it's a short 12 minutes to the station of Buchs, where the Railjet train makes another stop. On this stretch the railway line follows the course of the River Rhine, which at this point forms the border between Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Unfortunately the railway track is a bit too far away from the river to have any good views of the Rhine. The fact that a motorway lies between the tracks and the river doesn't help either.
That said, views on this short stretch are still pretty.
Buchs itself is another important interchange station as you can connect here to trains running north towards St. Gallen and Lake Constance.
