Walk tour inside Downtown Newark, New Jersey | Broad St to Mulberry St | Lafayette St to E Park St
A walk tour inside some of the streets of Downtown Newark, NJ, including an underground light rail station that was part of Newark Subway, but later converted into an underground light rail station that has the name Military Park Station; and also around 80 Park Plaza. The tour started in the evening and ended at night. Some of the streets that I toured was Broad Street, Raymond Blvd, E Park St, Park Plaza, Mulberry Street... Filmed on February 10, 2023 at 5:31 pm. Santa Cruz is the perfect west coast getaway and there’s no shortage of things to do! Take a stroll along the wharf and check out the local marine life. Of course no trip to Santa Cruz is complete without a trip to the boardwalk.
The Seymour Marine Discovery Center is an interactive marine science museum & aquarium. The views behind the center are worth the visit alone and you might even see whales right off the coast! Pleasure Point Beach is not only one of the best surf spots in Santa Cruz, but if you visit at low tide, you’ll have access to some pretty incredible tidepools. Other seaside attractions include Natural Bridges State Beach and Walton Lighthouse. The Mark Abbott Memorial Lighthouse now houses the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum, showcasing the history of the region’s most popular pastime. Another fun thing to do in Santa Cruz is wander about town and admire all of the colorful murals, like this collection on Mission Street. Speaking of colorful, don’t miss a visit to the seaside town of Capitola just south of Santa Cruz. It’s one of the oldest beach resorts on the west coast. Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is located less than a 30 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of the busy Santa Cruz boardwalk and it’s definitely worth the detour! Wander among ancient redwoods, step inside the Fremont tree, and take a relaxing steam train ride through the towering forest. Our final recommended detour is just north of Santa Cruz in the tiny town of Davenport. Shark Fin Cove is a fun place to explore. Hit up the Rodoni Farms produce stand across the street and then enjoy a picnic lunch with some of the best views on the west coast!
