These are crime-infested, run-down cities, and generally suck in the United States.
We also have some that people are still considering moving to, but really shouldn’t.

St. Louis has had a rough go of it over the years, and it can be seen throughout all of the cities northside. St. Louis is one of the most segregated regions in the entire country, and that plays a huge role into how the city was able to become the nations most dangerous city. St. Louis has flown under the radar for decades as Detroit stole all of the negative media headlines for many years, but St. Louis has been just as bad as Detroit has been over the last several decades... if not, worse.

Bridgton is a town in Cumberland County, Maine, United States. A resort area in Maine's Lakes Region, Bridgton is home to Bridgton Academy, a private preparatory school, and the Four on the Fourth Road Race.
Bridgton is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine metropolitan statistical area. To the east of Bridgton is Long Lake, which eventually flows into Sebago Lake and the Atlantic Ocean. Long Lake is partly fed by Stevens Brook. The source of Stevens Brook is Highland Lake, which is located just west of the downtown. In West Bridgton, a portion of Pleasant Mountain, including the Shawnee Peak Ski Area, rises. At the base of Pleasant Mountain is Moose Pond, a man-made lake. Moose Pond eventually drains into the Saco River.

We visited 18 of the 32 covered bridges in Western Indiana near Parke County and Rockville. Most of these bridges can still be driven on! Bridges and times listed below.
The second to last one has a severe lean and we actually considered not driving over it.
Fall is the perfect time to visit. The cool weather let us see most of the bridges without anyone else around.

We are two career professionals who love to travel. When possible, we like to take our four rescue dogs with us. They all came from the local shelter, and they are the best dogs. Three of them are terriers (pitbulls) that we call house hippos. The fourth dog is a German Shepherd mix. He is our senior dog (turns 13 this year) and is a furry potato.
We purchased a Class A motor home from Forest River so we could bring the dogs with us and tow our Jeep Gladiator. Our travels both with and without the RV have taken us to Cancun Mexico, Canada, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Arkansas, Texas, Colorado, South Dakota, Arizona, Nevada, and California. We also love to explore our home state of Indiana.
