【4K】 Husum | Video Walk Around the Harbour and Old Town Towards the Castle
A comfy virtual early morning walk around Husum in Schleswig Holstein / Northern Germany. As a port on the North Sea, the Grey City by the Sea is known for crab fishing and as the birthplace of the famous writer Theodor Storm. Starting at the harbour at low tide we will walk to the town square with the Marien Church and then on to the old castle. After we looked around the castle courtyard, we walk back through the main shopping street towards the port, where our little tour will end.

Tönning und Friedrichstadt (Nordfriesland)
Tönning ist eine Stadt und ein Badeort im Kreis Nordfriesland. Gelegen an der Eider, nahe deren Mündung in die Nordsee in der Nähe des Eidersperrwerks, verfügt die Stadt über einen Hafen, der bis zum Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts von großer Bedeutung war.
Friedrichstadt (niederländisch Frederikstad aan de Eider) ist eine Stadt zwischen den Flüssen Eider und Treene im Kreis Nordfriesland und wurde 1621 durch Herzog Friedrich III. gegründet. Er zielte auf die Errichtung einer Handelsmetropole und holte dazu niederländische Bürger, besonders die verfolgten Remonstranten, an den Ort und gewährte ihnen Religionsfreiheit. Als Folge davon siedelten sich auch Mitglieder vieler anderer Religionsgemeinschaften in Friedrichstadt an, so dass der Ort als „Stadt der Toleranz“ galt. Heute sind noch fünf Religionsgemeinschaften aktiv.
