Stewarts Crossing to Batemans Bay | One of the Best Day Trips You Can Do!

Stewarts Crossing campground is extremely popular and a great place to spend a weekend! But if you want to get the best of both worlds, then we recommend either a day trip or weekend trip to Batemans Bay as well!

Incorporating both Bush and Beach in this trip, we start off at Stewarts Crossing, letting Quinn swim to her heart's content. After having some lunch and enjoying the midday sun, we trek on East along the Kings Highway toward the coast

Arriving in Batemans Bay, we take the pathway along the harbour and inlet, soaking in some more sun and even grabbing an ice cream for our troubles!

This has got to be one of the best day trips from Sydney that you could do! Make sure you get up early as this will take most of your day to complete. It's well worth it though!

Stay tuned on our channel for more adventures!

Route 66 on Gardner & Braidwood Illinois

I've made stops into these small towns along Route 66 in Illinois. Gardner and Braidwood ares about 50 miles southwest from Chicago. They are small quaint towns that no one visits anymore but should because the people are down to Earth and very friendly. Plus they have cool stuff to see.

Interstate 55 Northbound, Braidwood, IL to I-355 | VirtualRoad

**Best viewed in 1080p60 or 720p60, Time Stamps Below Description

Road trip northbound on Interstate 55 in northeastern Illinois from Braidwood, IL to the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355) in Woodridge, IL. In this direction, you really see the transition from rural to urban over the course of the 30+ miles of this trip. We also see the mix of prairie and forest even though more forest starts coming in as we near the Des Plaines River Valley and further north.
We start in far southwestern Will County in Braidwood, IL and pass through Wilmington as well as the future full-access interchange at IL Route 129. After crossing the Kankakee River the road is straight as an arrow all the way into Shorewood and Joliet. But before we get to that point we pass by Arsenal Road, ExxonMobil's Channahon Refinery and cross the Des Plaines River on a pair of truss bridges. You will notice how much that land rolls around between Wilmington and I-80 in Shorewood. From I-80 we pass through Shorewood, Joliet, and Plainfield before we permanently head northeast. You will notice between south of I-80 and Weber Road that the road is quite rough. Back in 2007-2008 IDOT reconstructed and widened this stretch of I-55 as a result of all the development that happened in the 90's and 2000's (some is still happening now!). It has been 12-13 years since that project and not much work has happened there since. A resurfacing could come in the coming years! From Weber Road, we enter the big warehouse corridor that extends all the way through Romeoville and Bolingbrook past IL Route 53 and to I-355 where the video ends.
Enjoy the ride! Remember to hit that Like button if you enjoyed it!

My favourite time for Bikepacking in the Snowy Mountains

A mainly solo bikepacking trip to see some new huts right before winter. My favourite time to spend out in the mountains. Some Canberra friends had a public holiday and planned to go out Sunday afternoon for an overnighter. I went out a day early and spent the most part of 2 days by myself before meeting up with them late Sunday afternoon. My emotions were a bit of a roller coaster in this one as no contact meant I was unsure if they were actually coming and I never officially booked annual leave for the Monday so some decisions had to be made which changed things up a little. All in all it was a great trip.
