Heidelberg is a university town in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, situated on the river Neckar in south-west Germany. In the 2016 census, its population was 159,914, of which roughly a quarter consisted of students.
Heidelberg University, founded in 1386, is Germany's oldest and one of Europe's most reputable universities. Heidelberg is a scientific hub in Germany and home to several internationally renowned research facilities adjacent to its university, including the European Molecular Biology Laboratory and four Max Planck Institutes. The city has also been a hub for the arts, especially literature, throughout the centuries, and it was designated a City of Literature by the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

The extreme mix of destruction and beauty conjures up the turbulent past of this strategic fortification, with crumbling walls and towers standing next to a complete palace containing a fully-restored interior.

Ihr Anteil am Gesamtumsatz des Lufthansa Konzerns
ist im letzten Jahr von sieben auf zwanzig Prozent gestiegen.
„Das liegt aber auch an den gesunkenen Umsätzen der Passage”

Schon der heutige Lufthansa-Vorstandsvorsitzende Carsten Spohr war
zuvor Chef der Frachttochter und nutzte den Posten als Sprungbrett
an die Spitze. Sie hätte ebenfalls das Zeug dazu, ist sich
der Luftfahrt Journalist Andreas Spaeth im Gespräch sicher.
Dorothea von Boxberg ist begeistert von ihrem Job. Die Zugewinne
in der Corona-Pandemie will sie halten oder sogar steigern,
und zählt dabei - neben den Signalen aus der Automotiv- und Pharmaindustrie
auch auf den besonderen Teamgeist ihrer Cargonaut:Innen.
**“Die Attraktivität für Frauen, in sogenannte MINT Berufe zu gehen -
das sind die Bereiche Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften und Technik -
muss bereits im Vorschulalter geprägt werden.“**
Einst für die Einführung der neuen Business-Class bei der Passage zuständig,
kann Dorothea von Boxberg sich genauso für die andere Seite der kommerziellen
Fliegerei begeistern.

Das habe nichts mit dem stylischen Interieur zu tun, sondern
mit den durchaus exotischen Flugzielen und „weil wir Dinge transportieren,
die rasch gebraucht werden“, wie Wahlurnen nach Uganda oder auch
medizinische Helfer in Krisengebiete.
Im Herbst verlässt die letzte MD-11 die LHC-Flotte und schon heute wird
geforscht, wie man die neue B777F Flotte noch sparsamer machen kann.

In the 1800s, Carl von Seebach, Prussian district administrator a. D. from Langensalza, squire and owner of the Ziegelsdorfer castle. The last descendant of the von Seebach family from Ziegelsdorf was the unmarried Werner von Seebach (May 2, 1851 – November 14, 1895), who had the mausoleum built south of Ziegelsdorf Castle for 150,000 marks in a park with ponds and paths. He bequeathed 300,000 marks to the Gothaer Rennverein für Mitteldeutschland, of which the enthusiastic equestrian was a member, to complete the building in the event of his premature death and to take care of his final resting place. In 1897, two years after his death, the mausoleum was completed.
The proceeds from the legacy financed the annual Seebach commemorative race on the Gothaer Boxberg until 1913, at the time one of the best endowed obstacle races in Germany. When horse races were no longer held on the Boxberg, the capital of the Seebach Foundation, which had lost its value due to inflation, had to be paid out to the Johanniter Hospital in Heiligenstadt in 1923 according to the will.
From 1945 at the latest, no one took care of the burial site. The park became overgrown and the mausoleum suffered from vandalism and lack of maintenance. Finally, in 1992, the Free State of Bavaria initiated the most necessary renovation measures on the natural stone facade and the roof of the monument. In addition, the interior was cordoned off by a grid.
