Catch one of the Super Hit Duronto Express Trains of Indian Railways, the Howrah - Yesvantpur Duronto gracefully curving out of Bangarpet Junction banking over a huge curve hauled by SRC WAP4 in lead.
Duronto Express is a category of long-distance Super fast trains run by the Indian Railways with very minimal stoppages en route. These trains did not have any ticketing stops between the origin and the destination when started until mid 2015, post which commercial stops were introduced.
Duronto means restless in Bangla language. These trains' coaches have characteristic yellow-green livery. Duronto Express services connect the several metros and major state capitals of India. These trains are faster than or as fast as Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains.
The 12245 / 12246 Howrah Yeshvantapur Duronto Express runs 5 days a Week connecting the two major cities Calcutta and Bangalore.
The train has been a Super Hit ever since it began its service starting 30 December 2009.Tickets get booked real quick and is the most preferred train to travel between the two destinations.
The train traverses through Renigunta, Vijayawada, bypasses Visakhapatnam further traverses through Bhubaneswar, Kharagpur to reach Howrah completing 1953 KM in 29 hours.The entire route is energized with 25 KV AC traction and the Train runs end to end powered by a WAP4 Locomotive from Santragachi Electric Locomotive Shed. When Train stops due to lack of Diesel in Generater Car | Starts after Coupling of HOG WAP-7

Generator car of this train stops working due to lack of diesel, as a result AC stops working
after passengers complaint, train stops at Bangarpet Jn
so higher authorities decides to connect generater car with wap-7
but here the problem is, immediately after this generater car one AC coach is attached, which made difficulty for direct connection of WAP-7 to generater car
, so this AC coach is removed and placed in Rd-1 and again WAP-7 is coupled with generater car, then the staff arrives with some cables for HOG connection
after successful connection trains starts from BWT
Diesel is supposed to be filled at MAS but, bcz of some technical issues , fueling is not done
