San Biagio, Bovolone (Verona): una Fiera da assaporare
E perché non arrivarci in treno? Ce n'è uno ogni mezzora che ferma a Bovolone, sia che si arrivi da Rovigo, sia che si arrivi da Verona.
Dopo di che, senza l'impaccio del dover parcheggiare l'auto, si tratta di vivere la fiera, lontana circa mezzo chilometro dalla stazione.
E sul piazzale Aldo Moro, ci sarà lo spettacolo classico per il San Biagio bovolonese, con l'esposizione delle attrezzature e dei macchinari agricoli, immancabili e molto attesa dagli agricoltori.
Ma ci sarà anche, e soprattutto, la tensostruttura che ospiterà il salone dedicato ai Sapori del territorio, quelli che nascono a Bovolone e nell'immediato circondario e che, in un certo senso, resituiscono la vocazione agricola di questo paese, n cui un tempo l'attività molitoria era particolarmente significativa.
Prova ne sia il fatto che sono diverse le attività dell'agroalimentare che proprio a Bovolone hanno trovato radici e molte di queste saranno presenti nel salone, aperto anche alle degustazioni e ai laboratori de gusto.
Ma tutto il paese sarà coinvolto durante la fiera, perché un trenino collegherà il piazzale al centro, dove sabato e domenica 19 e 20 marzo ci sarà il vilaggio del gusto, con i sapori di altre regioni che solleticheranno i palati delle migliaia di persone attese all'evento.

Not far from Lazise, there is another beautiful place right on Lake Garda. Peschiera location on the Mincio, the only outlet of the lake has always had a special meaning. Veder nascere le colombe nel laboratorio di Bovolone, è un qualcosa che ti resta dentro, anche perché ti inebri di aromi e di manualità che ritrovi probabilmente solo lì, giacché ogni laboratorio, per quanto le lavorazioni possano sembrare simili, ha il proprio odore, il proprio carattere, la propria personalità.
Pierluigi Perbellini, ultimo discendente della storica famiglia, mi ha illustrato un mix di tecnica e gestualità che richiama un'esperienza che arriva da lontano, e che si ritrova tutta nella fragranza che racconta più di un secolo di attività.

Peschiera del Garda is a resort town at the southern tip of Italy’s Lake Garda. The 16th-century Porta Verona is one of the gateways in the old city walls that ring the historic center. The Palazzina Storica Museum houses frescoes and WWI objects. Across the Mincio River, the Madonna del Frassino Sanctuary features 16th-century cloisters. Water birds inhabit the nearby Lago del Frassino nature reserve.
Placed at the most southern end of the lake where the river Mincio begins its charming course, Peschiera del Garda is a tourist centre which offers hotels, campsites and holiday villages. Easy to reach by all means of transport, like trainline Venezia-Milano, its very popular among people who like to link a holiday by the lake with the discovering of its surroundings, full of vineyards, or of the flourishing countryside of Mincio valley, even by bycicle.
Its special attraction is the old town centre, which lies in the middle of an enormous fortress in the shape of a five-pointed star and completely surrounded by water. From Peschiera you can easily reach both the most important fun parks of the area and the famous cities of art Verona, Brescia and Mantova.
