This Hanumanji temple is considered most holy and sacred. It is among the more prominent ones in the Swaminarayan Sampraday. The image of Hanuman was installed by Sadguru Gopalanand Swami on Ashwini vadi pancham - savant 1905. The image of this temple is said to be so powerful that a mere look at it by people affected by evil spirits,drives the evil spirits out of the people affected. Sarangpur is easily reached by bus or car, as it is only 82 km from Bhavnagar. There can be a long wait at the temple gate sometimes, mainly on Saturdays.

Today we are visiting Salangpur Hanuman Mandir for Darshan of Kastbhanjan Dev Hanumanji, this temple is considered the holiest and sacred. It is among the more prominent ones in the Swaminarayan faith.

The idol of Hanumanji was installed by Sadguru Gopalanand Swami on Ashwini vadi Pancham - Vikram savant 1905 (as per the Hindu calendar). The image of this temple is said to be so powerful that a mere look at it by people affected by evil spirits, drives the evil spirits out of the people affected.
You can also get the daily darshan and other information from its website and you can mail salangpurhanumanji@yahoo.co.in for any inquiries or any donations.
You can reach here by any means of transport i.e. Road, Rail or Air. From Ahmedabad, Salandpur is 150 km away by road. & Botad Jn. is the nearest Railway station which is just 12km away. To reach here by Air, Rajkot is the nearest Airport(140 km).
Accommodation is available at a very reasonable rate here, which Starts from Rs.100 to 1200 per day. Free food is served here for all the visitors.
Along with this main Temple, we also visited BAPS Swaminarayan Temple. And also visited Kundal Dham & Shani Dham Located Just 16 km away from here.

Swaminarayan Mandir, Gadhada ( श्री स्वामिनारायण मन्दिर, गढडा), also known as Gopinathji Dev Mandir, is a Hindu temple in Gadhada, Gujarat, India. This temple is one of six temples that was made under the supervision of Swaminarayan, during his lifespan.
Swaminarayan had installed the idols in this temple on 9 October 1828. Gopinath (a form of Krishna), his consort Radha, and Harikrishna (Swaminarayan) are consecrated in the central shrine. Swaminarayan's parents Dharmapita and Bhaktimata and Vasudeva Narayan (Krishna's father) are worshipped in the western shrine. Revit-Baldevji, Krishna, and Suryanarayan in the eastern shrine.
The land for constructing this temple in Gadhada was donated by Dada Khachar in Gadhada. Dada Khachar and his family were great devotees of Swaminarayan. The temple was made in the courtyard of his own residence.
Gadhada is Situated on the Bank of the river Ghela also known as Unmat Ganga Bhagwan Swaminarayan and his saints used to take a bath in the Ghela River. This river flows on the south side of the temple. On the bank of this river the Magnificent White Temple of BAPS Swaminarayan is situated, we have made a separate video of this temple.

The court of Dada Khachar has been preserved in its original form. In the middle of Darbar, there is a big neem tree and the chamber of Vasudeva where Swaminarayan gave several discourses which are recorded in the Vachanamrut scripture.
On the backside, there is the Akshar Ordi temple and Gangajalio well. Lord Swaminarayan Stay here for around 25 years.
Lakshmiwadi (place of cremation of Lord Swaminarayan) is situated a little away from the town. At Lakshmiwadi, a single dome temple has been constructed at the place of the funeral rituals of Swaminarayan's mortal remains. A little ahead, there is one canopy where Swaminarayan used to sit and deliver the discourses, and just a little ahead, there is the room of Nishkulanand Swami, where he placed the palanquin prepared for Swaminarayan's last journey. A neem tree faces this place, and on its western side, there is one more canopy where Swaminarayan celebrated 'Sharadotsava.'

Gadhada is well connected by all major road networks. The nearest railway station is Botad Jn. which is around 27 km. away and the nearest Airport is Bhavnagar & Rajkot.

The entire project is designed in such a way that the unique blend of art and architecture will make the devotees visiting the temple realise the glory of the Hindu civilization.

Food is served free to all visitors at the temple’s dining room. This dining room is run by the temple’s trust as well as the Swaminarayana temple located in the same complex. Around 5,000 people take prasad in the form of lunch daily.This figure will be at least double on Saturdays. Booklets of Hanuman Chalisa are available in all forms and sizes at very nominal rates. There is a dharmshala located near the gate of the temple, where the people can stay overnight if they wish. The temple hours are 6 am to 12 noon, 3 pm to 9 pm every day. Buses are available from all the main cities of Gujarat.

This video is about our road trip to Gujarat done from Mumbai. We did the trip all by ourselves in our car SCROSS. This video is about our journey from Vadodara to Sarangpur clocking 230kms in a single day. We stayed for the night at the Bhakt Niwas.
