Колись тут проходила оборонна лінія Російської імперії, згодом місто було перетворено на фактичну фортецю та військову залогу. Через місто прокотилися найрізноманітніші криваві події 17-19 століть, кровопролитні події при розвалі Російської імперії, жахливі роки радянщини, грандіозні бої Другої світової війни. У новітній історії України та черговій війні нашого народу супроти російського узурпатора Ізюму довелося стати ключем до Донбасу та вкотре містом -фортецею, що призвело практично до повного його руйнування. Наш фільм про це багатостраждальне місто, його історію та його майбутнє - українську молодь.

Exploring Ukraine's Destroyed Buildings During War! ????????
The destruction in the centre of Borodyanka is the worst for its size I have seen in any of the towns around Kyiv, including Irpin and Bucha, which were much fought over.
Down the main street from the roundabout at the entrance to the town there is a massive amount of damage. Destroyed and burnt-out buildings, homes turned to rubble, the twisted wreckage of cars, and then more collapsed buildings.
Borodyanka, which is not far from the border with Belarus and was on the main axis of the Russian advance on Kyiv, has been very heavily shelled.

DRIVERS are forced to navigate their way through MINES laid across a bridge in Ukraine.

The shocking video shows dozens of explosive devices scattered across the road in four rows, hampering flow of traffic and putting innocent lives in danger.
The bridge surrounded by trees on both sides looks deserted as traffic trickles through slowly.
A silver car can be seen creeping over the explosive devices guided by others on the other side of the road.
The traffic was slowed down and vehicles were made to wait over a hundred metres away from the mines as cars were led through the road one by one.
It is not known when the video footage was filmed but according to Army Informa, the official twitter account of the Inform agency of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the video footage is from Borodyanka, Kyiv region, Ukraine.
Throughout the world millions of hectares of land are contaminated by landmines.
The explosive device remains active years after conflicts have ended.
Thousands of civilians have died or have been maimed by landmines between 1999 to 2017.
Many people online were shocked by the video. One added: Hopefully can clear those soon.
Another took a swipe at Russian army: God what a stupid and incompetent use of mines.
These clowning will not stop the military.

Russia-Ukraine war: Drone Video shows destruction in Kyiv
Russia’s war on Ukraine is now in its ninth day. Russian forces have shelled Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, sparking a fire there that was extinguished overnight. The U.N. nuclear watchdog says there was no sign Friday of radiation leaks.
The Russians have also taken over the strategic port city of Kherson and Vladimir Putin has said the campaign will press on to demilitarize Ukraine even as the day before, Ukrainian and Russian delegates met in neighboring Belarus and agreed to provide safe corridors to evacuate citizens and deliver humanitarian aid.
People across Ukraine have taken up arms and sought shelter. More than 1 million have fled to neighboring countries.
The United Nations has said 1 million people have fled Ukraine since the assault started on Feb. 24. This amounts to more than 2% of Ukraine’s population, though some of those fleeing are citizens of other countries. UNICEF said Friday that 500,000 of those who’ve left Ukraine are children.
Russia has acknowledged that nearly 500 Russian troops have been killed and around 1,600 have been wounded. Among them, Maj. Gen. Andrei Sukhovetsky, the commanding general of the Russian 7th Airborne Division, who had previous experience in Syria.
Ukraine has not released similar casualty figures for its armed forces.
The U.N. human rights office says at least 227 civilians have been killed and 525 wounded in Ukraine since the start of the invasion. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service has said more than 2,000 civilians have died, though it’s impossible to verify the claim

Een man knipt de heg, en wegwerkers onderhouden de zebrapaden terwijl een bladblazer de stoepen schoonmaakt. Bloemperken met kleurige tulpen schitteren in de zon. Zomaar een scène uit een willekeurige stad? Nee, een scène uit Charkov, een stad op zo een 40 km van de Russische grens die te lijden heeft gehad onder hevige bombardementen. Op het plein waar in 2012 nog duizenden oranje supporters feestte ,is het nu doodstil. Net als overal in de stad. Het stadhuis is zwaarbeschadigd door een bombardement waarbij 10 mensen om het leven kwamen. In vergelijking met borodyanka en Irpin lijkt charkov er goed te zijn van afgekomen maar wie goed kijkt ziet tussen de dichtgetimmerde winkels vele gebombardeerde gebouwen. Op het moment dat wij er waren is ook de dierentuin geraakt waarbij de 15 jarige zoon van een verzorger om het leven kwam. Een gids leidt ons trots rond in zijn stad, en strijdvaardig laat hij weten dat Oekraïne deze oorlog gaat winnen. Wat Charkov betreft heeft hij gelijk. De russen worden terug gedrongen en overdag hoorden wij het artillerie vuur van de gevechten. Charkov probeert zo goed en kwaad als het kan weer op te krabbelen en het gewone leven op te pakken.Ondertussen hebben we Charkov weer achter ons gelaten en ik hoop van harte dat onze gids weer snel vol trots aan de toeristen over zijn stad mag vertellen
Wij zijn weer begonnen aan een lange reis naar huis.
