Another beautiful town on Germany's Romantische Straße or Romantic road. The town was formed in a crater, it is still surrounded by its medieval walls, with ancient gatehouses & historic towers. Within its walls is a fine medieval town to be explored, and we follow part of it's historic tour * , along its walls, discover its streets and head to the centre of the Altstadt, or old town.

Der Tagesausflug nach Dinkelsbühl beginnt mit einer gemütlichen Radtour entlang der Stadtmauer. Während der Fahrt um den Ort kommen Sie unter anderem am Dreikönigsturm und dem Grünen Turm vorbei. Auch die Befestigungsanlage selbst ist eine mittelalterliche Sehenswürdigkeit, die das Gefühl vergangener Zeiten vermittelt.
Nachdem der Rundwanderweg abgefahren ist, begeben wir uns zu Fuß in die urige Altstadt. Ein Kurztrip nach Dinkelsbühl lohnt sich allein schon wegen der romantischen Altstadt. Vorbei an traditionellen Fachwerkhäusern, über historisches Kopfsteinpflaster und durch enge verschlungene Gassen – das ist die schönste Altstadt Deutschlands.
Inmitten des fränkischen Ortes liegt die St.-Georgs-Kirche. Mit ihrem harmonischen und lichten Innenraum gilt sie als die schönste spätgotische Hallenkirche Süddeutschlands. Entdecken Sie die kunstvollen Steinmetzarbeiten im Sakramentshaus.

Castle Kapfenburg / Schloss Kapfenburg / Lauchheim / Baden-Württemberg / Castles of South Germany
The Castle Kapfenburg or locally known as Schloss Kapfenburg, is one of the most famous castles located near the town of Lauchheim in Ostalb District, southern State of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
The Castle was built in the 12th Century A.D. and has transferred between the hands of many Kings. Amongst others it has been part of the famous 30 Years war, was also a Knights templar Castle and was used for the training of the Knights to be prepared for the Crusades in Middle Eastern World.
From the 15th right into the 19th Century it had a Brewery of its own on Campus. Currently it hosts the Heimatmuseum displaying the rich artifacts of not just the Castle but also of the surrounding villages and towns.
Its highly recommended that you visit this beautiful fairytale Castle located on the Mountains of Swabian Alps in Ostalb Region of South Germany.

Castle Niederalfingen / Burg Niederalfingen / Marienburg / South - Germany in 4K UHD
Castle Niederalfingen also locally known as Burg Niederalfingen or Marienburg or Fuggerschloss is located in near the town of Hüttlingen above a village called Niederalfingen from which it gets its name. The castle is in the county of Ostalbkreis in the South German State of Baden-Württemberg.
Its a spur castle located on a hilly spur above the Kocher Valley.
The castle was built around 1050 and has changed many hands of counts and nobels. It is a true Knights Castle and was built to protect the highly coveted trade routes that passed below it. The counts also collected taxes from the traders and in return were provided with a safe shelter for the night.
Its become a popular tourist destination for the younger generation. It is currently privately owned and is well maintained. One can also stay at the castle in small and large groups.

[4KHDR] Driving in Germany: Bundesstraße B10 from Landau in der Pfalz to Pirmasens
In this video you can drive along on the Bundesstraße B10 from Landau in der Pfalz to Pirmasens. This is a rather (in)famous stretch of Bundesstraße that is often regarded as the missing link of A8 Autobahn that runs from East to West.
Lane expansion works are still ongoing as you can see in the first part driving West from Landau and the A65. However, it's unlikely that the entire B10 will be 'twinned', let alone be converted to the Autobahn standard.
The B10 crosses through some beautiful landscapes of the Rhineland-Palatinate, especially once we drive past the city of Annweiler. The more challenging geography from that point becomes evident in the amount of tunnels on the B10, which is why it would be very costly to further expand the road.
Nonetheless the B10 is an important link between the economic areas of the Rhine-Neckar valley and Saarland, which are alternatively connected via the A6 Mannheim - Kaiserslautern - Saarbrücken.

The Ipf Mountain, Bopfingen / Ipf Bopfingen / Celtic Ancient Fort Site in South Germany
The Ipf is a famous table mountain located near Bopfingen City in Ostalb District, Baden-Württemberg, South Germany. This is a video of one of the rare sites in Europe where the human civilisation has thrived right since the Bronze Age. The Ipf Mountain had been home to mankind in one form or the other right since the Bronze Age, right through to the Iron Age where it was settled by different tribes from this region. Later in the 6th Century B. C. it was a site of the Celtic Civilisation's strategic fort which would controll the trade and commerce in this South German area. The excavations of this site in the recent past has led to stunning revelations with all these findings placed in the City Museums of Bopfingen, Nördlingen and Aalen. The Ipf Mountain has become, due to its fame a symbol for the nearby town of Bopfingen. There is a huge Festival held every year with the same name Ipf Messe in this town with Great traditional celebrations.

Schwäbische Alb´s hidden castle - Schloss Baldern: features the beautiful Castle in Schwäbische Alb called Schloss Baldern. This historic castle is located Bopfingen, Baden-Wuerttemberg. The castle is surrounded by Schwäbische alb and one can hike to and around the castle. It is a lovely place to visit for hikers and castle enthusiast.

This castle in Bopfingen is a must visit if you want to explore Schwäbische Alb in Germany. Baldern Castle / Schloss Baldern / Most beautiful baroque Castle in South Germany / Dream Castles
Baldern Castle or locally well known as Schloss Baldern is one of the best examples of beautifully maintained baroque castle in South Germany. It was built almost around a millennia ago and has been expanded several times to its present glory.
Schloss Bladern is located in Ostalb district of Baden-Württemberg near the village with the same name. Closest airports are Stuttgart, Memingen and Munich. The Castle is open in summers and it recently opened for the tourists on the 11th of July, 2020. So the castle is welcoming guests once again and after the Corona Pandemic.
This castle also has one of the most beautiful gardens there are to be seen in the south part of Germany. They are carefully curated by experts and are very well maintained. The castle belongs to the Prince and the Princess of Wallerstein-Oettingen near Balderm.
The Castle also offer amazing and very informative guided tours of the campus including the biggest privately owned weapons museum in Germany and the Wallerstein Gardens.
All in all it's a must visit, when you are visiting this part of Europe as they offer a full family package for a day out. Enjoy the video.

Lake Härtsfeld / Härtsfeldsee / Katzenstein-Neresheim / Lakes of Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Haertsfeld Lake or locally known as Härtsfeldsee is an amazingly beautiful lake with recreational facilities located in Heidenheim District, Baden-Württemberg. It is on the border of Ostalb District and Heidenheim District with Katzenstein, Dischingen and Neresheim being the closest towns near the Lake. The Lake is a actually a reservoir or a man made lake built on the River Egau to supply fresh water to the nearby areas. It was completed in 1972. The very famous Härtsfeldmuseumbahn or locally known as Schättere passes along the lake and is being rebuilt by a NGO in Neresheim. Since 1997 the lake authorities have been hosting a yearly Rock Music Festival.
The Lake is 4,2 Meters deep and has two islands that are not accessible to humans and they are mostly inhabited by the birds and animals of the Lake. The lake has plenty of fish, which can also be seen in one of the scenes of the video.
