I’m Lex Bonife. I’m a writer and I come from the immensely beautiful country called the Philippines. I try to see the world as much as I possibly can. I think a great life is one that is filled with countless journeys.

Some Facts About LexGo as a Traveler:

* When I’m traveling, I love waking up early in the morning to take great shots of an uncrowded city

* I prefer to be on my sandals all the time so I so I don’t have to carry socks with me in my luggage

* I always bring power extension cords whenever I travel.

* I always have problems sticking to my budget when I’m traveling.

* The worst thing that happened to me while traveling so far was when I was held by the immigration officers in Paris. I made a mistake in my visa application and I actually overstayed in France. But all is well, they did let me go. And they were very nice to me. They even offered me cookies.

Travel Guide | Tourist Spots in Mountain Province
Mountain Province brands itself as the only province in the entire country with an English name. But there is more to that. Along with its rather peculiar name, Mountain Province offers unique destinations worthy of appreciation and further exploration.

From cascading waterfalls, mystic lakes, towering peaks, mossy forests, uncharted rivers, to sacred graves, hot springs, rice terraces and many more. There is so much to see and experience here.

Take note. Most of the tourist spots mentioned here are off-beaten, meaning, they are not spoiled by the damaging impacts of mass tourism. Now, here are the top 20 must-see tourist spots in Mt Province. Travel Guide

Traveling to BONTOC, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE | with Travel Guide and Expenses

After our adventure in Buscalan to meet Apo Whang Od, we conquered the three major destinations in Bontoc, Mountain Province; the middle of our journey in the Cordillera Mountains. These are Mount Fato, Mount Kupapey, and the Maligcong Rice Terraces.

Bontoc is not just the capital city of the Mountain Province. It's the gateway to Buscalan Tattoo Village, and to Sagada. The word of this vlog is MIDDLE, as this is our journey where we have experienced failures and surprises. However, we have learned a lot with this journey. Therefore, I truly recommend visiting Bontoc, Mountain Province.

SAGADA | BONTOC | MOUNTAIN PROVINCE | CORDILLERA

SAGADA is a municipality in Mountain Province, Philippines. Sagada is famous for its hanging coffins. This is a traditional way of burying people that is still utilized. Not everyone is qualified to be buried this way; among other things, one had to have been married and had grandchildren. Apart from its hanging coffins, it’s known for its caves, waterfalls, limestone mountains, and hill-tribe atmosphere. Due in part to its remote location in the Central Cordillera Mountains, it was left relatively untouched by conquistadores during the Spanish era. A Spanish mission wasn’t founded in Sagada until 1882, resulting in one of the few places in the Philippines that’s preserved its indigenous culture with little Spanish influence. Popular activities include trekking, exploring both caves and waterfalls, spelunking, bonfires, picnics, rappelling, visiting historical sites, nature hikes, and participating in tribal celebrations. Guides can be found upon registration at the tourist-office in Sagada Proper (the main town) for a small fee. Most of the guides are natives, also known as Igorots.
