I travel from one end of the Sydney OPAL card network to the other on a Sunday for $8.00! Not long ago this journey only cost $2.80. Over 450 km! Due to a very restricted timetable on the Hunter Line, this journey is only possible starting in Scone at 6.30am or finishing in Scone at 10.30pm, so I stayed in Scone Saturday night and travelled back to Sydney from Bomaderry on Sunday evening. Total travel over 600km, total cost $8.05.
