Beach is love. Bolong Beach is one few beautiful beaches in Zamboanga City. It is located around 30kms from the pueblo in Zamboanga. Its beach cove stretchs up to 4kms. There's no entrance fee when you get here. Just pay for the cottage. Cottages cost 50-100php. It's more fun in the Philippines.

Zamboanga City is a highly urbanized city on Mindanao, Philippines. Zamboanga City is the 6th most populous and 3rd largest city by land area in the Philippines. It is the commercial and industrial center of the Zamboanga Peninsula Region. The southwest and eastern sides of Zamboanga City are bounded by irregular coastlines with generally rocky terrain and occasional stretches of sandy or gravelly beaches. The coastal profile usually descends abruptly towards the sea. Where rivers enter the sea, bays have formed, and the surrounding area has filled up with alluvial soils, producing small to large coastal plains. The overall topography of the city could be described as rolling to very steep. There are some flat lands, mostly narrow strips along the east coast.

Many people have heard of the 11 islands in Panubigan Zamboanga city but no one seemed to have the guts to visit this beautiful place. These islands used to be a hidden paradise in Zamboanga city, just near Bolong Beach. Not until the peace and security have greatly improved. The social media also helped spread the beauty of this place. Today, this is one of the top tourist destinations of the city.
Unfortunately, we have only visited two of the 11 islands, Bisaya-bisaya island and Baong-baong Island. Bisaya-bisaya is gifted with magnificent rock formations. You can walk around Bisaya-bisaya island and see all the marvelous rock formations carved by nature. Baong-baong island was the second islands we visited. It was perfect for swimming. The water was so clear and cool. It was a worthwhile experience.
