If you’re a bit more on the adventurous side, check out activities like diving the wreck of the Kittiwake. Grand Cayman is famous as a scuba diving destination and the wreck of the USS Kittiwake is one of the top spots to dive. Or descend into the 1000-year-old Crystal Caves and see the majestic limestone rock formations.
If you lean toward less adventurous outdoor activities, try hiking the Majestic Trail. The humidity gets pretty high and you’ll need to lather on some insect repellant to keep the bugs away but it’s a great spot to see the natural beauty of Grand Cayman without too many crowds. Or for an even more leisurely outdoor activity, spend a few hours strolling around George Town.
One of the must-see things to do in Grand Cayman is Seven Mile Beach. The beach, which is really only about five and a half miles long, is considered one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Snorkel its crystal-clear waters, try stand-up paddleboarding, or enjoy a meal at one of the bars or casual restaurants along the beach.

Grand Cayman - Drive from East End through Bodden Town
I thought that the drive between East End and George Town was lovely, so I stuck a GoPro to the windshield of my rental. This is the result, shown at about 6x normal speed (it's roughly 35 minutes of driving).

Site of Prospect Fort - Grand Cayman BWI

This is the site of Prospect Fort in Grand Cayman. The inscription on the marker reads 'Site of Prospect Fort. Built armed and manned by Caymanians for defense against the pirates during the administration of Gov. William Bodden, Governor from 1776 to 1823. Erected by Cayman Islands Historical Association 1954. You can find the marker if you follow the water-front road between Bodden Town and Georgetown. That's really cool that this fort was erected to defend against pirates! That's a cool piece of history and I bet that's also how Bodden Town got its name! Cool stuff! Snorkeling GRAND CAYMAN ISLAND Turtle Nest Inn [4K]
Snorkeling in front of the Turtle Nest Inn in Bodden Town, Grand Cayman. There was a lot of sargassum (seaweed) in front of the condo the week we were there and the water was a bit rough. The hard corals were not thriving well but was still some pretty soft coral so it is worth a snorkel! Video taken in May 2019.
