Walking in OLDENBURG / Germany ????????- Around the City Center - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Oldenburg is a town in northwest Germany. The old center of Oldenburg has many restaurants and cafes on pedestrian streets that we will visit on this walk.
We start our tour at the Hafenpromenade along the harbor of Oldenburg east of the city center. We are quickly getting to the inner city and the Ritterstraße to visit the Rathausmarkt with the St. Lamberti Church of Oldenburg.
Our tour continues to the Oldenburger Schloss that we circle around. On our way we also see the Berliner Bären statue. Then it's time to make a little detour outside of the city center.
Returning back to the inner city through Schlossplatz we now see more of the center and often head out and back into the many pedestrian streets. We even see the Lappan, a historic bell tower in the north of the city and stroll around the many alleys. There are more paths to explore.

Einmal im Jahr heißt es in Bad Zwischenahn „Quer durchs Meer“. Dann wird durch das Zwischenahner Meer geschwommen – 2022 bereits zum 10. Mal. Bei der wohl beliebtesten Schwimmveranstaltung im Nordwesten gingen erneut über 400 Teilnehmer an den Start und überwanden auf einer Strecke von 3,2 Kilometern Wind und Wellen.

Wir bewegen uns weiter und erkunden nun die Gegend um Leon, denn absehen von der Stadt auf dem Jakobsweg gibt es in der Umgebung traumhafte Natur, wie sie nur wenige in Spanien erwarten.
Wir erkunden also das verträumte Bergdorf Riaño an einem Stausee und zusammen mit der spanischen Familie, die in Leon lebt, fahren wir noch tiefer ins Gebirge der 'Gipfel Europas' und machen dort die für uns bisher härteste Wanderung mit über 1200 Höhenmetern und 20 km Distanz.
Außerdem besuchen wir Alvaro, Freund der Familie und Mechaniker des Vertrauens, damit er Jimmy einen Refresh gibt aber vor allem auch das Problem, das wir mit dem Öl haben, genauer ansieht.

Germany 2019 Day 8: Munich and Erding, Germany
Finally, we're going back to Europe. This times destination is Germany, and there's going to be a lot to do. Oktoberfest is around the corner, and there are many castles to conquer.
Day eight of our journey begins with us leaving Austria and going to Munich! Finally, the day of Oktoberfest is here, and we are going! This festival is very reminiscent of the county fairs that we have in the San Francisco Bay Area, except a little extra. People were definitely in a more festive mood, and beers were flowing. The tents were amazing, and the interiors were crazy cool.
Afterwards we went to one of Europes largest palaces the Nymphenburg Palace. This was a fancy place, with tons of art, and a HUGE garden.
Lastly, we make our way to the hotel in Erding that was right next to the largest Therme (Spa Park) in Europe. We had a little dinner and then turned in early for the night, because we have a travel day coming up.
