Büdingen is a town in the Wetteraukreis, in Hesse, Germany. It is mainly known for its well-preserved, heavily fortified medieval town wall and half-timbered houses.
Büdingen is in the south of the Wetterau below the Vogelsberg hills at an altitude of approx. 160 meters. The city is situated 15 km northwest of Gelnhausen and about 40 km east of Frankfurt am Main. Historically, the city belongs to Oberhessen.

Walk Through Hanau Christmas market
The Christmas Market in Hanau is fairly large for a medium-sized city. It is a 2G market, so they will check your vaccine or recovered status and a photo ID to get in.
The Vintage Ferris Wheel is the highlight of the market, but the decorations on top of all the stands add a special touch.
Hanau is about 30 min. away from Frankfurt by train.
There used to be a large military base in Hanau, so for any former military that were once stationed here, I hope this video brings back some fond memories.

Ein Schloss mit geheimen Verließen, eine Höhle, in der der Teufel wohnt, und Tinyhäuser für den eigenen Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof – das sind nur drei Dinge, die Tobi Kämmerer gemeinsam mit den Zuschauern bei seinem Ausflug nach Steinau an der Straße entdeckt.
Dass dieser Dreh ein ganz besonderer wird, merkt der hr3-Moderator gleich am Anfang. Als er über eine Brücke das gigantische Schloss beritt, geht das Städtetrip-Märchen los: Martin Kohlhaas zeigt Tobi Kämmerer die Brüder-Grimm-Ausstellung – und sperrt ihn schließlich in ein fast vergessenes Verlies.
Im Wald trifft Tobi Kämmerer dann auf Gordon Ulrich, der ihn mitnimmt in das Wohnzimmer des Teufels. Die Teufelshöhle in Steinau ist eine Tropfsteinhöhle mit einer außergewöhnlichen Geschichte. Tatsächlich steht Tobi dann tief unter der Erde dem Teufel gegenüber.
Für alle, die endlich mal wieder etwas abspannen wollen, bietet Familie Müller etwas Außergewöhnliches auf ihrem Bauernhof: Silke, Wolfgang und die drei Töchter Alena, Doreen und Janika bieten mit ihrem Mein Klein-Hotel in Steinau-Rabenstein Tinyhäuser zur Vermietung an – inklusive Kälbchenfüttern.
