Bilimora is a city situated on the banks of the river Ambika, in Gandevi taluka & Navsari district of Gujarat state, in India. The city comes under the purview of the Surat Metropolitan Region. The city is roughly 70 kilometres (43 mi) south of the city of Surat and is the southernmost point of the Surat Metropolitan Region and the Metropolis of Surat. It is linked to Surat by SH 6 and SH 88.[clarification needed]
In the late 18th century, the Baroda State established a naval station at Bilimora, a port about 40 miles (64 km) south of Surat, known as Bunder Bilimora Suba Armor. A fleet of 50 vessels were stationed here, mostly sailboats, cargo vessels for trading and military vessels to secure the sea from the Portuguese, the Dutch and the French.

Vansda, also known as Bansda, is a city and a municipality in the Navsari district in the Indian State of Gujarat, covering an area of 557 km².
Vansda is connected with Waghai, Chikhli, Saputara, Nasik, Vapi, Dharampur, Shamlaji by State highway. Nearest railway station is Unai, though only narrow gauge trains pass through the station. Nearest railways station for broad gauge trains is Bilimora Jn.
Vansda is a beautiful town of full social activities. The activities of Junior Chamber International is also running in Vansda Town with the name of JCI Vansda Royal founded by Mr. Amitsinh Desai.
Jaikishan, of most successful Hindi film music director duo Shankar Jaikishan was born and brought up here.
Bansda was once the capital of Princely State of Bansda till 1949.[1] There is a Tower in Vansda which shows the royal heritage of Vansda, There is a Mosque near the Tower, and Nadir-shah Pir Dargah in Champawadi, where lots of Hindu and Muslim devotees come.

The #bilimora to #waghai Narrow Gauge Train, a lone mode of long distance travel for the tribals in Dang, completed 108 years in July. The 63-km track of this train was laid by the British at the instance of Sayajirao Gaekwad in 1913.
Initially, the train was supposed to be a part of Gaekwad’s Baroda State Railway (GBSR) which was owned by the Princely State of Baroda. The motive behind this track was to keep connection with the royal state and transportation of precious sag wood from forests. After Independence, GBSR merged and became a part of Western Railway. At the turn of the last century, GBSR had all — narrow gauge, meter gauge and broad gauge.
The Bilimora-Waghai Narrow gauge HeritageTrain was running on a steam engine for almost 24 years before a diesel engine was pressed into service in 1937. The old steam engine was later put on display in 1994 in Mumbai’s Churchgate station as railway heritage.
#WesternRailways restarted Bilimora-Waghai narrow gauge heritage train services from Saturday, 4 September 2021. The resumption of train services is said to be of great convenience to locals, those travelling for employment and business from this area as well as for the benefit of tourists and passengers coming to #Saputara , the only hill station of Guajrat.
Train Number 09501 Bilimora-Waghai Special will depart from Bilimora on all days at 10.20 AM and the train will reach Waghai at 1.45 PM, the same day. While Train Number 09502 Waghai-Bilimora Special will depart from Waghai station daily at 2.30 PM and it will reach Bilimora at 5.50 PM, on the same day. Enroute both directions, the train will halt at Rankuva, Chikhli Road, Gandevi, Unai and Vansada Road, Anaval, Dholikuva, Kala-Amba, Kevdi Road and Dungarda stations. This narrow gauge heritage train comprises unreserved second class seating coaches and a fully reserved air-conditioned Vistadome tourist coach. Tickets for the AC Coach can be booked through at 560 Rs. and General tickets can be bought offline mode only from Stations.

1. Swaminarayan Temple - Famed white marble temple which is said to be constructed by Lord Shree Swaminarayan himself.
2. Prag Mahal and Aina Mahal - Prag Mahal is a 19th-century palace that is located next to the Aina Mahal.

- Timings: 9 AM - 6 PM
3. Kutch Museum - This is the oldest museum in Gujarat that was founded in 1877.
- Entry Fee: 5 INR
- Timings: 10 AM to 5:30 PM
4. Bhujia Hill - This is the best place to watch the sunset and city view in Bhuj.
5. Bhujodi - This place is home to the famous Vande Matram Memorial and is best for learning more about the independence of INDIA. There are lots of artists displaying their work here that you can buy and lots of picnic spots and eating options are available as well.
- Entry Fee: 100 INR for Indians, 200 INR for entry and museum visit
- Timings: 11 AM - 6 PM
