One hundred and one (101) kilometers south of Manila, cradle at the foot of Mt. Banahaw and Mt. Cristobal, and is surrounded by mountains, i.e., Mt. Atimla, Mt. Round, Mt. Nagcarlan, Mt. Mauban, Mt. Skeleton, and Mt. Bayaquitos, rests on the historic town of Nagcarlan, which is considered to be the largest of the uphill towns of Laguna. Several rivers and waterfalls spread within the area, famous among them are the Talahibing River, Lake Yambo and Bunga Falls. The town has approximately 12,000, hectares of land with a population of approximately 43,500. The weather is cool and just a bit higher than Baguio City. Main sources of the economy are agricultural products, vegetables and fruits such as lanzones, coconuts, sweets, bottled water, resorts and other commodities. Before the Spanish conquest of the area, it was led by Gat Lakilaw. Christianity was spread in the area in 1578 by Fr. Juan de Plasencia and Fr. Diego Oropesa, fellow missionaries of the Franciscan Order.

How to get to the Virac Catanduanes?
By Flight — Only Cebu Pacific offers once a day direct flights to Virac to and from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). The flight takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
By Bus — Land travel is a cheaper alternative, but also longer. Bicol Isarog Bus Lines (from Cubao) and Victory Liner Bus (from Pasay) regularly ply the Manila-Virac route. Trips are usually on overnight sleeper buses, as it takes roughly 18 hours by bus from Manila to Virac.

VISITING MY LOLA IN CABUYAO LAGUNA | PHILIPPINES TRAVEL VLOG
Cabuyao City in Laguna, Philippines is about 1 hour south of Manila. Cabuyao is where my mom was born and raised. We visit my Lola which means Grandmother in Filipino who I haven't seen in years! We also visit the house that my parents built over the property of which my Mom grew up. It's a Filipino Family Reunion in Cabuyao and Jaycation catches up with Cousins, Aunties and Uncles or in Tagalog Pinsans, Titas and Titos.
We also explore Cabuyao and head to the Cabuyao Cemetery to visit my Grandpa (Lolo Barok) at his grave and pass by the Cabuyao Palenke or Marketplace and finally have a Jollibee Mukbang with Maddy and a couple of my cousins!
At Jollibee we try Pancit Palabok, Chicken Joy with Spaghetti, Burger Steak with Lumpia and Rice, Tuna Pie, Peach Mango Pie and Ube Pie! It's a fast food fest at Jollibee!
