Top 12 tourist spots/attractions of Purulia Central Circuit are-
1.Ajodhya pahar-
Ajodhya Hills/Pahar, is a small plateau with hilly surroundings located in the Purulia district of the state West Bengal, India. Highest peak of Ajodhya Hills/Pahar is Chamtaburu.
2.Mayur Pahar
Mayur Pahar or the Peacock Hills. One can get a beautiful view of the Ajodhhya Pahar/Hills and the lush forests below.
3.Marble lake
Marble Lake, which formed when the rocks here were quarried for stone to build irrigation dams namely Upper and Lower dam.
4.Bamni falls/Bamani falls
Bamni Falls remains one of the major attractions of this place.
The falls is located near Bareria village and is flanked by charming landscape and greenery. It makes for a perennial falls.
Bamni is definitely worth a visit simply owing to its sheer natural beauty and landscape.
5.Upper Dam-
A major tourist attraction of Ajodhya hills/Pahar.Upper Dam is a Purulia Pumped Storage Hydel Power Project.
6.Lower dam-
Another major attraction of Ajodhya hills/Pahar is lower dam under Purulia pumped storage hydel power project.
7.Turga Dam/Thurga Dam
This is a beautiful Dam cum lake in the Ajodhya Pahar/hills range. The natural environment , The green surrounding will smooth anyone's mind. Best time to visit is during monsoon when water level will at its peak. This is also a great spot for picnics.
8.Pakhi Pahar-
This is one of the most amazing tourist spot in AjodhyaPahar/ hills.The Bird’s Hill or ‘Pakhi Pahar' draws rock climbing enthusiasts. This is surrounded by greenery every where and is worth a visit.
9.Saheb Bandh-
Saheb Bandh is a 50 acre lake in Purulia, that is known to have been constructed in the mid of 19th century. Now, Saheb Bandh is also considered as a home for migratory birds. During the migratory season, birds fly from Baluchistan, Siberia and several places in Europe, to this place. Thus, for local birdwatchers, Saheb Bandh is a popular retreat and tourist attraction in Purulia City with water sports fecility and shikara ride.
10.Charida Village-
Charida is the village of 300 skilled mask makers of the celebrated dance form of the region, Chau dance. This quaint village in the land of red soil is located at the scenic foothills of Ayodhya Hills, about 5 kms from Baghmundi.

The Vande Mataram Memorial is the latest and one of Ashapura’s most ambitious offering to the society and to the nation. This is a unique national monument and perhaps the only kind in the world.
It seeks to immortalize the most momentous episodes in India’s freedom struggle from the revolt of 1857 right up to the country’s Independence in 1947. The memorial complex is situated near Bhuj in Kutch, Gujarat over 10 acres of land; the primary structure of the museum admeasuring over 100,000 square feet is modelled on the likeness of the “Sansad Bhavan” (the Indian Parliament Building) and was constructed over 4 years with a mélange of inputs from prominent historians, architects, sculptors and artists
The Memorial seeks to commemorate the sacrifices of several freedom fighters and to perpetuate the spirit of unity and independence in the hearts and minds of posterity by enshrining the most crucial episodes of India’s freedom struggle from British rule, such as the first rebellion of 1857, Jallianwala Baugh, Simon Commission, Dandi March, Quit India Movement etc.

ARANYAK EXP (12885) runs from Kolkata to Bhojudih Jn. It departs from Kolkata Shalimar station (SHM) at 07:45 am from platform 2 and arrives at Bhojudih Jn station (BJE) at 01:10 pm. The 02535 / 02536 Aranyak Express is a short-distance Superfast-type day train run by Indian Railways which connects the city of Kolkata (Shalimar) with Bhojudih. It operates daily except on Sunday. It travels the 311 km at an average speed of 56–58 km/h. Recently it was extended to Bhojudih (Jharkhand) Junction in Jharkhand State. THE FIRST SERVICE ON 1TH APRIL 2000.
