Bhadrachalam Temple ( Abode of Sree Rama) - India
Every indian citizen knows about Sri Rama avatar.
This Sree Sita Ramachandra swamy temple is located at Bhadrachalam ( KHAMMAM DIST ), Andhra pradesh, India, on the river banks of Godavari also known Goutami . Kancharla Gopanna known as Bhakta Ramadas ( 17th century ) built this temple, who composed a number of keertanas ( songs ) in telugu language on Sree Rama.
Parnasala ( Hermitage ) is 25 kms from Bhadrachalam, where Rama stayed during his Vanavasam (exile).
It is believed that Rama crossed Godavari at north of bhadrachalam, to rescue sita, on his way to Sri lanka.It is a tourist place for devotees.Every year on 'sudhs chaitra navami' , which is Sri Ram's Birth day as well as His marriage day, devotees flock to this temple to get blessings of Lord Rama.

Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple - Bhadrachalam...ANDHRA PRADESH
The Sree Seetha Ramachandra Swamy shrine at Bhadrachalam, the most famous temple in the country dedicated to Lord Rama, is situated on the left bank of the Godavari river. It is a place of pilgrimage for Hindus, considered to be one of the greatest holy shrines in South India with a very rich and unique historical background. The Temple was constructed in the 17th Century by the local Tahsildar, Kancharla Gopanna, popularly known as Bhakta Ramadas, a fervent devotee of Lod Sree Rama. The main deity or the moola virattu, consists of two granite idols- Lord Rama with His consort Sita seated on His lap and Lakshmana. A unique characteristic of the idol of Sri Rama is that the Panchajanya (conch) is in His right hand while the Sudarshana Chakra is in His left hand.
There is River Godavari flowing in the town of Bhadrachalam. For tourists, there is a scenic walkway and park where you have sculptures illustrating some prominent episodes from Ramayana.

Bhadrachalam is a major religious place associated with Lord Shri Ram and is a major religious place of the Hindu faith, which is located in Khammam district of Telangana (formerly Andhra Pradesh). Bhadrachala Rama Temple located here which is dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita is a popular place in Bhadrachalam. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Rama is the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Goddess Sita is an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi, the wife of Lord Vishnu.
Bhadrachalam is situated on the banks of the sacred Godavari river. Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams of Lord Vishnu. The self appeared idol in the temple was discovered by a tribal woman, and later a temple was built by Kancherla Gopanna in the 17th century.
