Ambamai is an ancient cave temple amidst one of the hillocks of Satpura Mountain Range near Dharul Village in Betul district, Madhya Pradesh.
It is very close to Maharashtra also as MH Border is around 2 km only from there and in Maharashtra people know this place by - Bhiwandi Mata Temple. In Madhya Pradesh, it is known by Dharul Ambadevi.

Sarad Waterfall is also known as Kanhaiya Khol, is a beautiful waterfall located near Khedi Sawligarh Village in Betul (Madhya Pradesh).
The reason behind the name of the waterfall is that Sarad is the name of the village which is located near that place, so people started calling this place as Sarad waterfall and Kanhaiya Khol.
So I decided to visit this place for the very first time and after reaching there my reaction was Woooow! Trust me guys, you won't believe that such a lovely place exists near Betul.
This place is worth visiting only if you'll go in monsoon.

Betul Beach, Goa (India)
Betul Beach is particularly a fishing hamlet with a picturesque view and a secluded atmosphere to escape from the clamor and stress of life. Betul Beach is located south of Mobor Beach across the Sal river. This idyllic retreat is located against an imposing backdrop as headlands from the slopes of the Western Ghats protrude into the shore. The moderate climate and the cool sea breeze make it perfect for picnics and a laid back day.
Betul Beach is renowned for Goa’s finest and largest mussels. Being a fishing village, this beach allows you to savor the most delectable fresh seafood you would not find easily anywhere else. The places near to Betul worth visiting are Mobor Beach and Madgaon city.

Betul Fort – Goa’s Best Kept Secret and Shivaji Maharaj Only fort in Goa
It's a small fort built by Shivaji around 1676
Portuguese took control over it from 1764 until 1961.
After 1961, like most Forts of Goa, this was also neglected by the Goa Govt.
Goa is blessed with abundance of beaches. You may be one who loves soaking in the sand and sun or may be a person to just run away from getting your feet dirty. You may be a beach person or not. Here is one gorgeous village more famously known for its beach you would definitely love and enjoy. That’s Betul. Why? Because, apart from the sea, there is some historic places to explore, some great views from up the mountain and much more to see around.
Once you get here you can’t stop noticing the old world charm unfolding right before your eyes. Betul wakes up like a village right from your dreams. The houses all lined up neat and nice, the coconut trees swaying with the sea breeze, locals moving out and chit chatting in a friendly manner.
The beach here is beautiful beyond description. Upright clear blue water, white sand and rocks covered with white corals turning them white. This paints a gorgeous fairytale picture. Well the place isn’t crowded as such but you would find many fishing enthusiasts trying their luck here.
The fort of Betul stands right on a tiny hillock facing the beach, an apt position to build one seeing that a full view of the sea is available from this point. The fort stands overlooking the Mobor beach and stands at the meeting point of river Sal and the mighty Arabian sea.
Betul fort was built in the 17th century on the orders on Chatrapati Shivaji and may perhaps be the last fort he ordered to be built before his death. The strategic position of the fort at the meeting point of the Arabian sea and the Sal river gave a upper hand to them. The area was later conquered and annexed by the Portugese.
The fort now lies in total ruins with only a 4 meter demarcated area with some seats around which still remain. The key highlight here is the single canon which bravely stands alone facing the sea. Well, that’s pretty much what remains with most of the fort being lost under thick vegetation.

सतपुड़ा की वादियों के बीच सारनी ये शहर मन को हमेशा सुकून देता है । शाम को डैम पे बैठ के बंगाली के समोसे खाना शायद ही किसी सारणी में रहने वाले ने छोड़ा होगा । एक तरफ पावर हाउस से आती हुई आवाज और दूसरी तरफ दूर तक दिखाई देता हुआ डैम मन को हमेशा सुकून देता है।
दोस्तो के साथ सारणी मेले के समय मठारदेव मंदिर के लिए सीढ़ियों का चढ़ना और उसके बाद ऊपर से सारणी का जो दृश्य दिखाई देता है हर सारनी में रहने वाले लोगो का साल में कम से कम एक बार उस दृश्य को देखने का मन जरूर रहता है ।
यहां पर जमीन के लगभग 4-5 km अंदर से कोयला निकाला जाता है और यहां पर रहने वाली आबादी में 40% लोग बड़ी मेहनत से ये काम करते है । सारनी के आस-पास के गांवों में मुख्य रूप से कोरकू,भील, गोंड जनजाति पाई जाती है।और इन गावों में अभी भी पुराने तरीके से बने हुए मकान और उनकी जीवन शैली को देखा जा सकता है।

The view from the fort bastion on the southern bank of River Sal is panoramic. The river empties into the Arabian Sea and the scene extends from the tip of Mobor beach in the north to the village of Betul in the east along the extensive bay below the range of hills.
