Hi, Guys Mabuhay PIpol of the Universe! In today's video, we are going to tour the Government House in Sydney. Tara na pipol of the universe ????????????

Government House in Sydney is the official residence of the Governor of New South Wales. It is located in the Royal Botanic Garden, near the Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay.
The current Government House, known as the Gothic Revival Government House, was completed in 1845. It replaced an earlier Government House that was built in the early 19th century.
Government House serves as the official residence of the Governor of New South Wales, who is the representative of the Australian monarch. The Governor-General carries out various constitutional and ceremonial functions at the state level.
The building is designed in the Gothic Revival architectural style and features sandstone construction, turrets, and intricate detailing. It is considered an important example of colonial architecture.
The residence is surrounded by well-maintained grounds and gardens, which are part of the Royal Botanic Garden. The gardens are open to the public, providing a peaceful setting with views of Sydney Harbour.
Government House hosts various official functions, state dinners, and ceremonies. It is a venue for important events, including the swearing-in of ministers and the presentation of honours and awards.
Guided tours of Government House and its gardens are available to the public. Visitors can learn about the history of the residence, its role, and the significance of the Governor's position.
It's recommended to check the official website of the Government House or contact the relevant authorities for the latest information on public access, guided tours, and any events or functions that may be taking place.
Visiting Government House provides insight into Australia's constitutional and historical aspects, along with the opportunity to appreciate its architectural and natural surroundings.

Berowra to Mount Kuring-gai hiking trail in Berowra Valley National Park | Hiking in Australia

(Watch in HD) Don’t forget to subscribe! ????????
This 10km route takes you through beautiful Berowra Valley National Park located only approximately one hour north of Sydney CBD (City Centre). The route we took connects two train stations along the Sydney rail network. Start at Berowra station and finish at Mount Kuring-gai station. The hiking trail will take you past Naa Badu lookout with a bit a of a detour before heading down the steep hill to Sam's Creek. Naa Badu means 'see water' in the Darug language. The people of the Darug nation are the traditional owners and caretakers of the lands in this area.

Along the way, we saw many birds including sulphur-crested cockatoos, Wattle birds, Wrens, Lorikeets, and even a male Lyrebird with its beautiful tail feathers. We also saw five lace monitors (Goannas) and a few Australian brush turkeys. During spring, many wildflowers bring beautiful colours to the entire walk. The hiking trail is not an easy one for beginner hikers. Good, sturdy shoes are required and be prepared to climb over big rocks from time to time.

Enjoy the footage!

Crosslands Reserve, Berowra Valley National Park - A short hiking trail with stunning view

Crosslands Reserve in the Hornsby Heights is a beautiful natural wonder within the Berowra Valley National Park, which is about an hour drive from Sydney city centre.

This hiking trail starts from the parking area at the end of Somerville Road, follow the Benowie Walking Track route map, the entrance of the trail starts with a beautiful zig-zag boardwalk, you can hike up to the point “Place of winds”, a beautiful Saltmarsh Boardwalk and turn back, 1 way is about 1.5km. The trail is medium grade, some up and down steps climbing required.

This trail connects the Great North Walk Trail, totalling 27km long, plan your trip accordingly if you want to hike the whole trail.

As always, when hiking in the bushland, safety comes first, stay away from the edge of the cliff, watch out for poisonous snakes (stay on the designated trail path to avoid surprises), and spider webs (especially if you are the first one to walk the bush trail in the morning)

Two toilet facilities are available in this park, one is in the north of the parking lot and the other is in the south.

Parking is free, but check the official site as it may change.

This park offers several camp grounds, check the official site for details.

Cowan Station to Berowra Station via Berowra Waters Bushwalk - August 2020

Approximately 10km with multiple steep rocky ups-and-downs requiring no technical skills but hard on the legs from stretching so far for every step. Excellent one way walk making use of trains directly from Sydney's Central Station - 50km journey for $3.40 at weekends makes it stupidly inexpensive.

Hike culminates in the Naa Badu Lookout.

This video features the Eggs and Bacon Flower, the Scribbly Gum, the Grass Tree, and the very very illusive Laughing Kookaburra (mostly laughing). The Squiggle Puff, is alas, something I made up at the time.

Berowra Waters to Cowan (Great North Walk)

This is a great 7.5km walk along the Great North Walk. There are three good climbs on this walk, with the second climb being the hardest, but the third climb tested my knees!. Fantastic country. Unfortunately my HD camera died shortly after the start, so had to use my phone camera. I apologise for the video quality. Guess I might have to walk it again!
