2 UNIQUE PLACES IN BENTONG, PAHANG | Malaysia Places

Adventurers and nature lovers, have you discovered these two places in Bentong, Pahang?

???? Chamang Waterfall

Only reachable by a 12km road from Bentong Town, the majestic Chamang Waterfall cascades down a steep gully in the Bukit Tinggi rainforest region, creating a grand playground for nature lovers. The cold mountain waters and breeze from the waterfall creates a cooling environment, making it an ideal location for picnics and camping during scorching hot days. For those who are not prepared to wade through the rocky stream and water, there is also a short suspension bridge that connects to the other side of the fall. Please be alert and be careful of strong currents and whirlpools!

???? Desa Damai Hill

A trip to Bentong must include a hike up to this popular 3.7km out-and-back trail. Along the route, you will find a plethora of interesting things to ogle at, like the stunning landscape, beautiful view of the tranquil sea of clouds and its fresh air. It is a moderately challenging route and will take an average of 1hr 40mins to complete. You're sure to fall in love with this place when you visit.

Hi friends
For this episode I’ll be venturing to a state which I have never done a feature for, that’s Bentong of Pahang. Since most of my previous features on tin mining town were well received, I thought the prior Taiping episode should follow suit. Unfortunately there’s no fixed format to get good viewership, if there was a winning formula, then I haven’t nailed it yet. I hope you will enjoy this episode as much as I had worked on it. Meanwhile please go out to support the local street food, be it in Bentong or otherwise. Thank you and hope to catch you in the next.

Reaching Bentong Morning Market from Kuala Lumpur is super easy by using highway. An hour of journey will take you from the bustling city to bentong town.

Today we are going to visit the famous roti canai stall in Bentong Morning Market. It was a simple stall for takeaways, only manned by 2 friendly brother's, one expertly tossing and flipping Rotis in the large flat skillet, and one handling orders, wrapping the hot-off-the-skillet Rotis with Dhall Curry or Sambal Sardin.

It took roti canai maker, muhammad Nazir years to master the techniques of making the perfect roti canai, a skill his father passed down to him decades ago.

Chamang Waterfall or more known as Lover’s Waterfall is no doubt, the best attraction in Bentong for everyone. Scenic view surrounded by natural beauty and lush greenery.

You can walk around to find the best angle for your photo, but please be extra careful. Stay away from swift moving water. There have been many unfortunate cases happened here.

Hi everybody, join me in this video to check my trip to Bentong Pahang. Bentong is a small town or district in the state of Pahang in Malaysia. This small town is off international tourist visit chart and only known to local tourist.

To exactly know about Bentong, it is 1 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur and. Heading to Bentong from Kuala Lumpur is exactly in the same direction heading to Genting Highland and you will need to skip the exit of Genting Highlands at Genting Sempah and proceed another 30 minutes drive through the expressway. For reference purpose, from summit of Genting Highlands to Bentong take about 1 hour drive.

Bentong is well known among the local Malaysian for its fresh ginger.
Bentong ginger if compare to other looks thinner but the spiciness and sensation is much higher than other. Ginger is one of the most difficult to grow agriculture commodity as it is only grow at the place not polluted, cool temperature, natural water and mineral. Basically after growing ginger on that plot of land, secondary planting will not able to harvest the similar quality due to the lack of mineral and nutrient.

Visiting Bentong, Pahang Malaysia

1.5 days trip to Bentong Pahang

Top 10 place to visit in Malaysia | Amazing Life

The most popular places to visit in Malaysia are stunning — and the country's excellent infrastructure makes getting to them relatively painless.
Although Malaysia is always ranked well among the most visited countries in Asia, Thailand usually steals the limelight and #1 spot. Long-term budget travelers often shun Malaysia as being too expensive (mostly because alcohol does cost more than in Thailand). Meanwhile, short-term vacationers in Southeast Asia seem to skip Malaysia for lack of time.
But Malaysia has a lot of beauty, diversity, and adventure on offer, as showcased by these tempting top destinations.

Kampung JANDA BAIK, Pahang - Let's back to the Nature!

Click “SUBSCRIBE” to follow latest video here:

Kampung Janda Baik is a small village outside Kuala Lumpur city in Bentong, Pahang, Malaysia. It is geographically located in the state of Pahang, 30 km from Kuala Lumpur, just 10km after the Karak highway’s exit of Genting Sempah or 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur.

Kampung Janda Baik is a small village with a population of approximately 1000. Cool breezing tropical climate of 21 °C to 28 °C. It’s a peaceful village surrounded with untouched natural tropical rain forest at altitude of 400–600m above sea level. Idealistic for retreat from the hectic city life of Kuala Lumpur where temperature reaches 34 °C at its peak in daytime.

Janda Baik was explored in the 1960s where plots of land were given to retiring Special Constable(SC) as part of their retirement benefit. In those days, Janda Baik had a very humble start with no supply of electric-water. Life was very simple but full of tranquility. Most early residents earned their living by agricultural activities- small rubber plantations and paddy cultivation mainly because Janda Baik is so blessed with rich natural network of rivers.

Janda Baik started gained its popularity after the late Tan Sri Muhammad Ghazali Shafie (former Foreign Affairs Minister of Malaysia) survived the Cessna 206 air crash on 10 January 1982 in Janda Baik.

The Janda Baik has now grown into a popular highland tourism retreat spot where dozens of operators offer homestays and chalets in Malay Village style capitalizing its breeze and cool highland climate that is clean and fresh.

Janda Baik is connected by road through Karak Highway and old road named Jalan Lama Bentong Kuala Lumpur. This old road is part of the original Federal road. Till to date it is still well maintained by Federal Malaysian government. This old road exist even before the 18th century as the main on-land passage connecting West and East Coast of Peninsular Malaya out stretching to Raub-Fraser Hill-Kuala Kubu-Tg Malim/Rawang.

Janda Baik is a tranquil place for weekends and affordable holidays. It is a safe place for both domestic and international tourists where many local residents are able to communicate in English. Both cellular phone and internet lines have good coverage. Janda Baik continues to gain popularity among bird watchers, joggers, cyclists etc.
