Last weekended we headed off on a short road trip to Washington DC to visit family. We spent a few days exploring Washington DC and taking in some of the famous places around our nation's capital. From massive parks and delicious food, to monuments and memorials, Washington DC is full of famous sites and history to fill many days. We took a very low key weekend enjoying being back in a big city and enjoying all that Washington DC has to offer while also exploring the city in areas that we don't know as well. Washington DC is huge, but we managed to squeeze in some of the fun spots in Washington DC into one video. Let's go!

Washington, DC is known for its amazing monuments and museums, which really come to life in the spring, but the BEST part about DC is all the amazing food! So, if you're going to DC you're going to have some great places to eat your food and drink your coffee.
We decided to consider any restaurant that was opened as far back as 2020 as new since there would have been limited time to experience that restaurant during COVID. We also considered restaurants that weren't new but either opened their first location or opened a new location as far back as 2020. Therefore, spots that started as pop-ups or food trucks made our list.
