This video was shot 4 weeks before Russia invaded Ukraine. I am devastated by what is happening and my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of this war. If you want to help, my friends @YesTheoryare currently in Poland and have started a GoFundMe to help Ukrainian refugees with food, water, and necessities. They have already raised $500,000, and 100% of proceeds are going directly to help save lives: Donate here:

Okay, now onto the description of the video... Riding on the Trans-Siberian Train has been a bucket list adventure for me for as long as I can remember (8 years?). The train starts in Moscow and then travels 10,000 kilometers Eastbound across Siberia until it ends in Vladivostok. I was lucky enough to catch Trans-Siberian train for a 30-hour leg – from Irkutsk to Novosibirsk – and it was one of the wildest travel experiences of my life. Even in the middle of winter, where temperatures were around -30C, I couldn’t believe how scenic the views were out the window. It felt like a dream!

On the Trans-Siberian train, I met two incredible characters – Gregory (the train conductor) and Sacha (the drunk passenger) who I shared the entire experience with. I will never forget this train ride. It was the journey of a lifetime, and I can’t wait to (hopefully) finish the rest of the adventure someday soon. Siberia is truly a remarkable place. Thank you for watching.

KYIV UKRAINE Travel - World's Deepest Metro Station, Motherland Monument & Other Sights

FEBRUARY 2020 - KYIV, UKRAINE
We woke up late that day but still ended up exploring a different part of the city and seeing some amazing sights!

I originally made a 15 minute video but decided to seperate the evening at the ballet...and see how well two shorter videos go as I do tend to get a bit carried away with my 20+ minute vlogs sometimes! The evening at the ballet video will be out on Throwback Thursday - I've had to start a whole new category just to fit it in :)

RUSSIA | Europe | Asia | Travel | Moscow | Awesome | 4K | Best places to visit | Top lacations |

Russia, once the largest and most powerful member of the former USSR, remains a fascinating country to visit. It is a country of contrasts, from great subtropical beaches to bitterly cold winter regions in the north. The east may have fewer people, but its lovely cities are among the most interesting in Russia and can hold their own against the west. Russia is steeped in history everywhere a traveler goes, from vicious battles to great classical music and literature. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in Russia:

GIRL TRAVELS SOLO ACCROS UKRAINE: FIRST CLASS OVERNIGHT TRAIN FROM LVIV TO DNIPRO #travelukraine

This is my personal story about how traveling by train (first class) from Lviv to the EAST of Ukraine - city Kamenskoye, Dnipro region during the war in Ukraine in 2023.

I took a first-class compartment with one neighbor and spent 16 hours (922 km) on the train; it cost arm and leg - 55 dollars for first class.

Bedsheets, water, napkins, towels, and tea were included in the process. The wagon has AC and hot water.

My hometown Kamenskoye (Dnipro region), is 100 km away from the frontline, and people there are suffering from missile attacks every day.

The BAM: Russia's Unknown Trans-Siberian Train????????

???????? We have all heard of the Trans-Siberian, Russia's mega train journey that crosses Siberia as it skirts the Chinese border. But few have heard of the even more impressive B.A.M ( Baikal Amur Mainline ) which passes through virgin forest in the middle of Siberia. Built in the 1970s by young communists, the BAM is the greatest construction project of the 20th Century. And yet it is unknown in the West.

I decided to go and ride this unknown journey across northern Siberia and speak to the people who came to build it. Join me as we ride 'The Bam'!

THIS IS RUSSIA. EPISODE 3. / Khabarovsk / Ussuriysk / City with a 5000RUB note / Who sold Alaska?

#ThisIsRussia

We left Vladivostok and covered the first 768 km from the entire route. On the way we dropped in to see Ussuriysk! Almost 12 hours on the road from Vladivostok to Khabarovsk were not easy: long distances affect the fatigue of the whole team, and besides, it was not so easy for four guys in one car to get along together ... But the adventure is just beginning!
Khabarovsk itself greeted us friendly: he gave us craft beer, treated us to breakfasts and introduced us to cool guys from the arts, business and culture of the city. We tried to tell in more detail about our life, relationships and travel. We are waiting for feedback!
