Beecroft is a suburb on the Upper North Shore of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. 22 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government areas of Hornsby Shire and City of Parramatta.
Beecroft resides the upper section of Lane Cove National Park and is one of the oldest established suburbs in New South Wales. The suburb is notably affluent and is characterised by leafy streets and large federation homes on big blocks of land.
Beecroft shopping district was one of the first shopping districts in New South Wales to ban the use of plastic bags. This included Woolworths Beecroft to be the first Woolworths Supermarket to ban plastic bags in the state.

This week I start exploring the stunning Beecroft Peninsula!
Beecroft Peninsula has some of the most pristine beaches, rugged cliffs, and lush bushland. Located on the Northern Headland of Jervis Bay, where crystal-clear waters meet powdery white sands, creating a haven for sun-seekers and water sports enthusiasts alike.
My weekend doesn't stop there! I also visit the stunning Currajong Rock Pools, Bamboo Headland, Bass Point Rock Pools and Cathedral Rocks!

With its white sand beaches, sparkling blue waters and abundance of wildlife, Jervis Bay on the NSW South Coast is a popular seaside escape. In this coastal paradise in the Shoalhaven region, swim in crystal clear waters, spot dolphins and whales on a wildlife cruise, and enjoy excellent water sports.

Famed for its dazzling stretch of fine white sand, Hyams Beach is a small village in the beautiful Shoalhaven region of the NSW South Coast. Found on the southern shores of the splendid Jervis Bay Marine Park, the calm turquoise waters are perfect for swimming, snorkelling, fishing and stand-up paddleboarding.
Stroll the beach and feel the soft sands underfoot or roll out your towel and listen to the gentle waves. Spend an hour following the Hyams Beach trail, also known as the bird spotter’s walk, and keep an eye out for colourful rosellas. The walk through Jervis Bay National Park begins at the beach’s southern end.

02. Honeymoon Bay [02:12 - 03:01]
Honeymoon Bay is set in a picturesque location in Jervis Bay. It is approximately 10 kilometers from the edge of Currarong along the Point Perpendicular Lighthouse Road. Honeymoon Bay is a small sheltered bay to spend a day by the beach, snorkel and paddle in the sea. Camping is fully booked during the summer holiday period via a ballot system held each August. At other times of the year it is available on most weekends and during school holidays on a first come, first served basis. No pets are allowed. At times the area is closed, when the car park reaches capacity or for Defence exercises Monday to Friday. Telephone the Beecroft Weapons Range for more information.

Easy access off Belvoir Rd (Part of the Penguin Cradle trail). Took us 5hrs return (walking time) in quite wet and boggy conditions. Majestic terrain and very manageable day hike that is definitely worth checking out.
