Walking downtown Paterson NJ. Main St, Market St, fish market and train station 4K

Downtown Paterson
is the main commercial district of the city and was once a shopping destination for many who lived in northern New Jersey. After a devastating fire in 1902, the city rebuilt the downtown with massive Beaux-Arts-style buildings, many of which remain to this day. These buildings are usually four to seven stories tall. Downtown Paterson is home to Paterson City Hall and the Passaic County Courthouse Annex, two of the city's architectural landmarks. City Hall was designed by the New York firm Carrere and Hastings in 1894, and was modeled after the Hôtel de Ville (city hall) in Lyon, France, capital of the silk industry in Europe.

Pinoy in New York Walking Tour - Bedminster, NJ | Hike and Bikeway⁴ᴷ

Bedminster NJ is where Donald Trump loves to play his gold. I think he has a property here. But in this video, come walk with me in Bedminster's Hike and Bikeway as we welcome the start of autumn.

It was indeed a relaxing hike, not really difficult but more on a walking hike. In this video you will see the trees are getting colors. The peacefulness of the river just removes away the stress brought about by this pandemic and living in the city life.

This was such a fun weekend we spent in Bedminster NJ.

Enjoy walking!

⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ Driving US Route 206 from Bedminster, NJ to Chester, NJ

76°F / 24°C

Dashcam view of driving northbound on US Route 206 from Interstate 287 in Bedminster, New Jersey to Rogers Road in Chester, New Jersey, passing through Peapack-Gladstone.

0:28 - US 202 and US 206 split
1:22 - downtown Bedminster
3:30 - Entering Peapack and Gladstone
5:01 - Pfizer Way exit (entrance to Pfizer Peapack-Gladstone office campus)
7:04 - Re-entering Bedminster
7:51 - Entering Chester

From Wikipedia:
U.S. Route 206 (US 206) is a 130.23-mile-long (209.58 km) north–south United States highway in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, United States. Only about a half a mile (800 m) of its length is in Pennsylvania; the Milford–Montague Toll Bridge carries it over the Delaware River into New Jersey, where it connects to the remainder of the route. Its southern terminus is at an intersection with US 30 and Route 54 in Hammonton. The highway's northern terminus is at an intersection with US 209 near Milford, Pennsylvania; some sources and signs show an overlap with US 209 to end at its parent route US 6. For much of its length, US 206 is a rural two-lane undivided road that passes through the Pine Barrens, agricultural areas, and the Appalachian Mountains of northwestern New Jersey, with some urban and suburban areas. The route connects several cities and towns, including Bordentown, Trenton, Princeton, Somerville, Roxbury, Netcong, and Newton. The road is known as the Disabled American Veterans Highway for much of its length.

After the US 202 split, US 206 continues north as a four-lane divided highway through commercial areas, with the grass median becoming replaced by a painted median as it comes to a junction with CR 523 in downtown Bedminster. Following this intersection, the route narrows into a two-lane undivided road that runs through less development. US 206 enters Peapack-Gladstone, where it runs a short distance to the west of NJ Transit's Gladstone Branch. In Peapack-Gladstone, the road briefly becomes a four-lane divided highway as it has a trumpet interchange with Pfizer Way, a road that provides access to a Pfizer facility. Past this point, US 206 becomes a two-lane undivided road that runs northwest through rural areas, with CR 512 crossing the road. Just after this intersection, the route enters Bedminster Township again, turning to the north. The route continues north into Chester Township, Morris County.

4K Interstate I-287 from I-78 to I-80 Bedminster to Parsippany - NJ Highways

This video looks best in 4K.

- I-287 intersects I-78 at the Vincent R. Kramer Interchange, where the local-express lane configuration ends. Access from eastbound I-78 to southbound I-287 is only to the local lanes. Meanwhile, the express lanes of northbound I-287 provides access to westbound I-78 while the local lanes provide access to eastbound I-78. Following I-78, I-287 heads north with four northbound lanes and three southbound lanes into more wooded surroundings, reaching another interchange with US 202/US 206. At this point, the freeway median widens again as it turns northeast before continuing more to the east and entering Far Hills. Within Far Hills, the road passes under CR 512 before the northbound direction narrows to three lanes and the wide median ends. Entering Bernards Township, I-287 runs east-northeast to an interchange with CR 525. After the CR 525 interchange, the road gains a wide median that narrows again before the road runs under NJ Transit's Gladstone Branch, heading more to the northeast. Before leaving Bernards Township, there is an exit for North Maple Avenue.

A short distance after this interchange, I-287 enters Harding Township, Morris County at the crossing of the Passaic River, where it becomes the Marine Hector Cafferata Jr. Cong. Medal of Honor Highway. It continues northeast, with US 202 running a short distance to the west. The freeway makes a turn more to the east as it comes to a truck-only rest area in the northbound direction. The road crosses into Morris Township, where it reaches an exit-only interchange with Harter Road; there are no entrances present. Shortly after Harter Road, there is a junction with CR 663 (James Street) that only has entrances to I-287. After this, I-287 turns north and enters Morristown, where the southbound direction gains a fourth lane as the median narrows. The freeway enters more developed areas as it comes to the Route 124 interchange. From this point, the road becomes eight lanes total, with four in each direction, as it passes west of Morristown Memorial Hospital. After crossing under NJ Transit's Morristown Line, it reaches the exit for CR 510. From CR 510, I-287 makes a turn to the northeast, crossing back into Morris Township before continuing into Hanover Township. Here, the route comes to the western terminus of the Route 24 freeway and becomes ten lanes total. Following Route 24, the freeway passes over the Morristown and Erie Railway's Whippany Line before it intersects Route 10 and becomes nine lanes, with five southbound and four northbound. I-287 passes near several business parks as it enters Parsippany-Troy Hills. In this area, there is an interchange with CR 511 east of Lake Parsippany that also has access to Entin Road in the southbound direction. After this, I-287 widens to eleven lanes with five northbound lanes, two express southbound lanes, and four local southbound lanes as it comes to the I-80 junction.

LAMBERTVILLE NJ | visiting towns along the Delaware River, plus a sunset hike to Goat Hill Overlook

On this trip, we went to one of our favorites, Lambertville, NJ. We know it's not in Bucks County, but as part of the celebration of the Delaware River, we are including it as part of our travels.

To start off, we crossed the bridge spanning the Delaware River and take that immediate left where we come across a long time friend, Peter. Peter and Ramon run an antique store, A Stage in Time, that is full of antiques as well as Ramon's art. Definitely a destination to check out before moving on.

Going back to Bridge Street, you will find so many cute shops and places to grab a quick bite or coffee that the choices can be difficult. We chose Bucks on Bridge, which has delicious coffee and ice cream, as well as an attached music store.

Finally, we stopped to eat at Inn of the Hawke. Our server, Josh, was the best. Their Tuscan Bread is worth the visit and the beer and wine choices made sure our dining experience was perfect.

The town itself has so much history to it too, between the beautiful churches and houses, you can see why so many artists like to come here. It's a great place for historians and artists to come together as well.

Finally, we decided to relax and take in the sunset overlooking the Delaware River from Goat Hill Overlook. It's an easy enough place to get to but the view, as you can see, is stunning and well worth the hike.

Thanks for joining us. As always, we hope you liked this video and will see you in the next one and remember to Squeeze the Day!

- Morristown
is a town and the county seat of Morris County, New Jersey, United States. Morristown has been called the military capital of the American Revolution because of its strategic role in the war for independence from Great Britain. Today this history is visible in a variety of locations throughout the town that collectively make up Morristown National Historical Park.

According to British colonial records, the first permanent European settlement at Morristown occurred in 1715, when a settlement was founded as New Hanover by colonists from New York and Connecticut. Morris County was created on March 15, 1739, from portions of Hunterdon County. The county, and ultimately Morristown itself, was named for the popular Governor of the Province, Lewis Morris, who championed land ownership rights for colonists.

The Ford Mansion
is a classic 18th-century American home built by Jacob Ford, Jr. in 1774 and now owned by the National Park Service as a part of the Morristown National Historical Park.

It was acquired by the Washington Association of New Jersey in 1873. The Georgian-styled mansion is known for being George Washington's headquarters from December 1779 to June 1780 during the American Revolutionary War.

4K Garden State Parkway Southbound I-87/I-287 to Bloomfield (Exit 172 - 148) - NJ Highways

This video looks best in 4K.

- In Essex county
Winding into Bloomfield as a six-lane roadway, the GSP crosses NJ Transit's Montclair-Boonton Line and has an interchange with the Newark-Pompton Turnpike (CR 506 Spur), where the frontage roads end. After passing under Norfolk Southern's Boonton Line and reaching an exit for CR 506, the parkway enters a more suburban area and the southbound parkway has the Essex Toll Plaza. The highway then briefly enters Nutley before crossing back into Bloomfield, where the Jersey barrier becomes a grassy median and the parkway reaches a diamond interchange for CR 655 serving Montclair and passing the Brookdale North and Brookdale South service areas to the west of the Upper Montclair Country Club.

In Passaic and Bergen counties
The parkway then crosses into Passaic County and the city of Clifton, where it reaches an interchange with Route 3. At this point, the space between the northbound and southbound roadways contains the Allwood Road Park and Ride serving NJ Transit buses. After passing under a set of power lines and bisecting a residential area, the route has an incomplete interchange with US 46. Immediately north, the parkway meets the southern terminus of the Route 19 freeway, which heads north towards the city of Paterson. Past this point, the highway curves northeast and passes over NJ Transit's Main Line before the median transitions to a Jersey barrier and the highway has a northbound exit and southbound entrance at CR 702, serving the city of Passaic. The parkway heads northeast past many homes before heading into a business district and crossing Norfolk Southern's Passaic Spur line. After passing many more residences near the route, the parkway reaches a partial interchange with the southern terminus of Route 20. Immediately afterwards, the parkway crosses the Passaic River and enters Elmwood Park, Bergen County, where it comes to a second interchange with US 46, serving Garfield. Passing more homes, followed by several businesses, the highway then passes over the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway's New Jersey Subdivision line and under NJ Transit's Bergen County Line before reaching an interchange with I-80 and the northbound Bergen Toll Plaza in Saddle Brook.

- About Garden State Parkway (GSP)

Continuing northeast, the road passes through Saddle River County Park and crosses the Saddle River into Rochelle Park. After leaving the park, it crosses a pair of interchanges for Route 208 and Route 4 as it enters Paramus near the Westfield Garden State Plaza shopping mall. North of Route 4, the parkway passes east of the Arcola Country Club and runs closely parallel with Route 17 before interchanging with it. Past this interchange, the median becomes grass-filled. After passing east of businesses and west of homes, the parkway passes in between the Paramus Park shopping mall and New Bridge Medical Center before reaching a junction with CR 80, which serves Oradell and has a park and ride. After bisecting residential neighborhoods, the parkway has a partial junction with CR 110 before entering Washington Township where the southbound lanes have the Pascack Valley Toll Plaza – the northernmost toll plaza on the highway. North of the toll plaza, the median becomes substantially wider and trees begin to appear within it. The Garden State Parkway finally narrows from six to four lanes at the exit for CR 502, serving Westwood. Winding through suburban Bergen County past many homes, the parkway briefly enters Hillsdale before entering Woodcliff Lake, where there is a northbound exit and southbound entrance for Chestnut Ridge Road. The parkway then enters Montvale, where it reaches the Montvale Service Area, the northernmost service area on the road. Immediately north is an exit for CR 94; this is the northernmost exit of the Garden State Parkway, which crosses into the state of New York soon afterwards. From there, the route becomes the Garden State Parkway Connector (New York State Route 982L, an unsigned reference route). It includes a northbound entrance and southbound exit at Red Schoolhouse Road, where southbound trucks are required to leave the freeway. The connector meets I-87/I-287 (New York State Thruway) in Nanuet, marking the northern end.
