In a city that is the home of the nation's top universities, we can start our list in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, AKA MIT, located in Cambridge. this great institute features 168 acres of architectural buildings, statuary and the MIT Museum. One of the highlights of the MIT is the Stata Center, a complex known for its controversial design, built in 2004 and designed by the well-known architect Frank Gehry.
At number 9 we suggest the Massachusetts state house. the 1797 historic landmark is one of the 16 stops of the famous Freedom trail. watch our special video about this trail... The Massachusetts state house is one of the most beautiful buildings in the trail, mainly recognised by it's gilded dome, and red brick facade. and it is located in one of Boston's most beautiful neighbourhoods, Beacon Hill. Guided tours of the historic building are available all year long, for free! As you may imagine, this is not the only landmark from the Freedom trail on our list...
At number 8 we recommend the oldest public park in Boston, the Boston Common. The peaceful park was not so peaceful before the 1817, as it was used for public hangings. located in the heart of the city, this huge park features some of the most popular sights of Boston, and it is also the first station of the freedom Trail. Watch our special video guides on the Public Garden and Downtown Boston.
Number 7 is Prudential centre. This commercial complex features many of the most popular shops in the fashion world. One of the exciting attractions is the Prudential Skywalk in the 50th floor of the Prudential Tower, which is one of the tallest skyscrapers of Boston. Boston Travel Tips: 10 Things to Know Before You Go

Everything YOU need to know before you travel to Boston Massachusetts in the USA. Boston is the hub of New England, in the Northeast of the United States. Visiting Boston is like a history class in person. Boston is the cradle of much of the US’s history including playing a significant role in the American Revolution, having the first public library in the US, and the first lighthouse. Boston is a city of Neighborhoods, with 23 distinct neighborhoods. Boston has lots of Parks -- public green space is 17 percent of the city. You are never more than a half mile from a park. Boston is very compact.. Downtown Boston is roughly 2 square miles. About 13% of Boston citizens commute by foot, giving it the highest percentage of pedestrian commuters in major cities of the United States.

2 - Top Attractions

Freedom trail
A red-brick path connecting the most famous sites. 2.5 miles long.
16 of Boston’s most historic sites including:
Faneuil Hall Marketplace, the Paul Revere House and Old North Church.

North End
The end of the Freedom Trail, and home to Boston’s Little Italy district.
Make sure to get a cannoli from Mike’s Pastry or Modern Pastry.

Boston Common was declared America’s first public park in 1634
Right next to it is the Boston Public Garden, America’s first Botanic Garden

JFK Presidential Library
All about the life of the US’s 35th president… a bit of the beaten path, but worth it for history buffs.

Beacon Hill
Known as Boston’s most “beautiful” neighborhood
Known for its charming, narrow cobblestone streets, federal style row houses and gaslit streetlamps. It’s also considered to be one of Boston’s most desirable and expensive residential areas in the city

Quincy Market
great gathering spot and place for lunch, with over 35 stands offering a wide food selection.

Seafood

Scrod - Catch of the day

Chowders, Lobster Rolls

Italian Food

Dunkin Donuts started here.. And yes, there’s one on every corner.

Beer: Visit the Sam Adams Brewery opened in 1984. Tours are free.. And with free beer tasting!

There’s **NO HAPPY HOUR**
Boston has banned after work drink specials. Time-of-day deals are limited to food. So you’ll find cheap food options from 4pm-6pm, but not alcohol.

4 - Getting In

You’ll likely be flying in to Boston Logan International Airport, which is just a short 3 miles away from Boston. 40 airlines that serve Boston, and 3 hotels onsite

You can also take the Blue Line Subway, but you have to take the Massport shuttle bus to get to the Subway stop.

Getting around Boston is like navigating a maze

6 - When to go

Summer is peak tourist season (June-August)
But locals recommend Fall, September & October. The leaves are changing color, and the weather is much more pleasant.

Spring often has lots of rain.
Biggest Holidays are St Patrick’s Day and the Boston Marathon
Re-enactment of the Boston Tea Party every year on DECEMBER 16

7 - Language

English.. But the Boston accent is pretty thick, and there’s some interesting local slang
Not everyone has the Boston Accent… but you’ll definitely hear it

8 - Wicked Wifi

I mentioned Wifi means good… Wicked Wifi is the cities metropolitan wifi network. The SSID is “WickedFreeWifi”

9 - Hotels

Boston is old, and so are the hotels and AirBNBs. If you are expecting an elevator and A/C, call to check in advance.

10 - Universities

More than 20 colleges in Boston alone… and Harvard, and MIT which are technically not in Boston, but in Cambridge across the river.

140,000 college students call Boston home.

Stop by some of the most prestigious colleges in the nation, including Harvard and Tufts University. Continue your Boston tour with a stop at Faneuil Hall, which has served as a marketplace since 1742, and check out a variety of shops and street performers.
No #visit to Boston is complete without paying homage at Fenway Park, where the Red Sox have held court for over a century. Don’t forget to fuel up with food afterward; Boston boasts a variety of restaurants, ranging from fresh seafood to classic Italian and everything in between.
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

[4K] Boston Walking Tour - Beacon Hill, Public Garden, Newbury Street | Travel Guide

Exploring Boston City - Massachusetts’ capital and largest city. Founded in 1630, it’s one of the oldest cities in the US. Started walking from Charles Street in Beacon Hill - Boston's most affluent neighborhood. A tiny street in Beacon Hill called Acorn Street is known to be the Most Photographed Street in the US because of the preserved cobblestones pavement. Built in 1837, the Boston Public Garden is a large park in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, located right next to Boston Common. Newbury Street is a destination known for its many retail shops and restaurants.

Hey all my travel lovers! Today's video is about a small city which is 50 miles away from NYC. The city is called Beacon. Beacon city is famous for its art studios, vintage shops and food cafes. The city has mountains, falls and river. It's known as an artistic city. The mesmerizing natural beauties have made this city peaceful for the other crowded city dwellers.

I have tried to capture all the scenic places for giving you all a better idea about the Beacon city. Moreover, I have given you all the whole tour guide from NYC to Beacon. I hope that this will help my fellow travelers to plan their trip to Beacon.

You can take the train from either Grand Central Station or Harlem 125th Station if you live in NYC. The fare is $17.50 (off peak time) or $22-25 (peak time) for one way trip. Peak times are all week days from 6 am - 10 am and 4pm-8pm. Off peak times are all other times on weekdays, all day on weekends and holidays. But still it depends sometimes.

I hope that the information will help you to plan a smooth trip to Beacon. If you like my video, then please subscribe my channel and share it with your friends and family????. Thank you!!!
