Welcome to the Bahamas of New Jersey. This was once the location of a strip mine pit where they pulled minerals and sand from. Now it is a sanctuary for all kinds of wildlife. The famous Blue color is caused by the water only reflecting the blue color spectrum from the sun. Today we saw puppies, Motocross bikes, and horses while hiking. And we discovered someone's created a cool-looking fort using materials found in and around the pit.

I've been asked at the beginning of the video What's wrong with Hunters? Well....
Hunters hunting for food? Nothing. I've hunted for food myself.
Hunting to control population? Understandable.
Hunters hunting for fun? Depends. A couple years ago while hiking April and I found 11 deer piled up in Wharton that was all shot and was only missing their heads. Not sure what kind of hunting that was. And as Butch Brown also pointed out... They help control the population to prevent spreading of diseases and overeating areas causing starvation. The taxes the hunters pay to the state through license fees, taxes on firearms, ammo, and all things hunting-related go to the purchase and preservation of these areas.

So My short answer is there is nothing wrong with hunters.

Bayville and Oyster Bay Beach, Long Island, NY

Oyster Bay Beaches

Centre Island Beach, Ransom Beach and Tobay Beach are the beaches of Oyster Bay. Centre Island Beach is nestled between the Long Island Sound and Oyster Bay. It offers a wholly relaxing atmosphere and stupendous oceanic views. You can sometimes even catch a view of whales swimming off the sound. Families consider Centre Island Beach ideal for picnicking and basking in the sun. Access to the beach is available through daily or seasonal passes. Ransom Beach is a short span-800 feet long-that gives access to specialty foods like Greek cuisine, pizza and ice cream, not on the beach, but within a walking distance. The beach itself offers a small, intimate beach environment that is romantic and serene. Tobay Beach is located on the east coast of the mainland, and features such water-driven activities as surfing and bookie boarding. The waves here have the same power to ride as other more popular beaches, but Tobay Beach gets comparatively smaller crowds. This could be why it is known for being consistently clean, and the beach-goers here are calm, thoughtful and polite. It is ideal for beach combers and sunbathers who want to avoid large groups and rowdy, noise-making beach partiers.

Top 10 Restaurants to Visit in Locust Valley, Long Island | New York (NY) - English

Locust Valley is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) located in the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. The population was 3,406 at the 2010 census.

== History ==
The rolling hills of the North Shore of Long Island were laid down as terminal moraines by the receding glaciers of the last ice age roughly 10,000 years ago. The Algonquian tribe that settled the area, spanning from Flushing to Setauket, called the area hilly ground or Matinecock and as a result the Algonquian Indians who settled there became known as the Matinecock Indians. In 1667, Captain John Underhill negotiated with the Matinecock Indians to purchase land for a settlement that he and his fellow colonists would call Buckram. The town name lasted for nearly 200 years, until in 1856 the name was changed to Locust Valley based on the number of locust trees located in the area.On April 19, 1869, the Long Island Rail Road opened the extension of the Glen Cove line, via a single track to Locust Valley, making it the terminus of the line until the railroad was extended to its current terminus in Oyster Bay in 1889.With the arrival of the Long Island Rail Road, a commercial center developed and thrived around the Locust Valley station and the nearby intersection of Forest Ave/Buckram Road and Birch Hill Road. As the North Shore of Long Island grew into the Gold Coast in the early 20th century, the commercial center grew to serve the great estates that were being established in the surrounding communities of Bayville, Centre Island, Lattingtown, Mill Neck, Matinecock, Muttontown and The Brookvilles.By 1927, the wealthy Harrison Williams had established himself at his 150-acre (0.61 km2) Delano & Aldrich designed estate Oak Point at Bayville, on nearby Pine Island. Weekend guests (which several times included Scott Fitzgerald, the Prince of Wales, Cecil Beaton & Winston Churchill) arriving at the Locust Valley Station were often fet...

Bayville Submarine

Overview of the Bayville Submarine from the stern to the bow. There is a group of very experienced instructors and divers mapping out this wreck and have been working diligently on trying to identify the submarine.

This is a great dive on the Island and thanks to the recent hurricanes more and more of the wreck is visible and I found a lobster on the wreck too, which is always a good sign!

Massachusetts - United States

Massachusetts is a state in the New England region of the northeastern United States. It is bordered by Rhode Island and Connecticut to the south, New York to the west, and Vermont and New Hampshire to the north; at its east lies the Atlantic Ocean. Massachusetts is the 7th smallest, but the 14th most populous and the 3rd most densely populated of the 50 United States. Massachusetts features two separate metropolitan areas: Greater Boston in the east and the Springfield metropolitan area in the west. Approximately two-thirds of Massachusetts' population lives in Greater Boston. Generally the Greater Boston boundary is regarded as the Atlantic Ocean to the east and areas just north, west, and south of Interstate 495 to the west, north, and south. Western Massachusetts features one urban area - the Knowledge Corridor along the Connecticut River - and a mix of college towns and rural areas. Many of Massachusetts' towns, cities, and counties have names identical to ones in England. Massachusetts is the most populous of the six New England states and has the nation's sixth highest GDP per capita.

Places to see in ( Virginia Beach - USA )

Places to see in ( Virginia Beach - USA )

Virginia Beach, a coastal city in southeastern Virginia, lies where the Chesapeake Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. A 3-mile boardwalk stretches along its beach-lined oceanfront. The bayside First Landing State Park marks the 1607 arrival of the Jamestown colonists from England. The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center exhibits ocean life including sharks, rays and sea turtles in globally themed habitats.

Virginia Beach offers the classic beach vacation, and maintains a long-standing reputation as a family-friendly oceanfront resort. Visitors are greeted by a 300-foot wide beach lined by Virginia Beach’s three-mile concrete oceanfront Boardwalk. The resort offers a mild climate year-round. Itineraries include lazy days on the beach, the state parks and Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge beckon, hiking, kayaking, and biking adventures. Fishing, golfing, whale watching, dolphin watching, historic landmarks, and exciting attractions and popular events are part of the Beach experience.

With 35 miles of sandy beaches, a 3-mile concrete oceanfront boardwalk and nearby outdoor activities, it's no surprise that Virginia Beach is a prime tourist destination. The city has worked hard to shed its reputation as a rowdy 'Redneck Riviera,' and hey, the beach is wider and cleaner now and there are fewer louts. Beach aside, you'll find some lovely parks and nature sites beyond the crowded high-rises lining the shore. Expect thick crowds, heavy traffic and high prices if visiting in the summer.
