This NEW MEGA BRIDGE in Philippines is worth P1 BILLION
The Roma Point Bridge, is a 1.7 km cable-stayed bridge under construction between the towns of Quezon and Lopez in Quezon, Philippines. The bridge will connect Alabat Island and its three municipalities of Perez, Alabat, and Quezon with the rest of Luzon Island, which are separated by the Silangan Pass. Once completed, it will be the longest bridge in Quezon Province and the Calabarzon Region.

Sariaya is comprised of 43 barangays; of which, six (6) are urban barangays which are located in the Poblacion, while the rest of the 37 barangays are rural barangays. Based on the PSA Census of 2015, Sariaya has a total population of 148,980 or 34,592 households. Barangay Sampaloc Santo Cristo has the highest population with a total of 8,054; while Barangay Sampaloc Bogon has the least population with a total of 907.
The urban area or the “Poblacion” consisting of six (6) barangays, had a total population of 10,138 or 6.80% of the municipal population, while the rural area with 37 barangays had 138,842 persons, or 93.20% of the total population. Among the barangays in the urban area, Poblacion 4 has the highest population with a total of 3,386 persons. On the other hand, the thickly populated barangays in the rural areas were Sampaloc Santo Cristo, Manggalang 1, Concepcion Palasan, Castañas, Sampaloc 2 and Mamala II.

Biyahe ni Jai sa Dumaguete-Siquijor
These is a part of my 5D4N Visayan escapade. Here's Day 2 (Dumaguete) and Day 4 (Siquijor) itinerary (this was all arranged by #StrollPinas team, thank you guys [c/o Ms. Jo]):
Day 2:
Stayed in house of Tatay Jesus in Olympia island (near Manjuyod)
07:30 Wakeup call - prepare food for lunch and snacks [c/o Tatay Jesus' family :)]
10:00 Dolphin and whale watching - we saw pretty much of dolphins (hundreds of them), no whales though.
12:00 Lunch in the boat (high tide in Manjuyod till 2pm)
01:00 Mangroves and Fish Sanctuary
02:00 Manjuyod White Beach Sandbar
05:30 End of tour, shower
Day 4:
Stayed in Tori's
08:30 Wakeup call (you can rent a trike or motorcycle)
09:00 Old enchanted balete tree and fish spa
09:30 San Isidro Labrador Church
10:00 Cliff jumping and swimming in Cambugahay Falls
12:00 Lunch
12:30 Salagdoong beach resort (swimming, snorkeling and cliff jumping)
02:00 Mangroves and tree houses in Guiwanon
04:00 free time to stroll around the island of siquijor, sunsets here are the best!!!
Notes:
- Ceres bus has a trip going to Manjuyod every 15 mins, ordinary bus. First trip is at 03:00 in the morning. Travel time to Bais 1hr and 30 mins approximate
- Boat rental rate varies by the number of guests. The boat we rented can accommodate 20pax max. They have a boat too for 3000 and 3500. Please contact Ms. Jo of Stroll Pinas team for more details. You may also ask her to arrange your trike service. A trike can fit 5-6pax max.
- Allot extra time (at least an hour) sometimes dolphin watching takes time than the usual because the Dolphins won't show up.
- Sans rival and Silvanas can last for a month if kept in the freezer.
- food in Siquijor are cheap and you can pretty much buy it from anywhere in the island.
